 Boxed OrnamentsGreetings!

It never fails that spring slips by and suddenly it's summer before we know it! June is a very big month for weddings, right up there with December.

It's time for vacations and lazy days by the pool sipping a cold glass of sweet tea or lemonade while the kids splash and play and have fun. Bar-b-ques, skiing, fishing, movies in the park....it's another opportunity to make memories. And don't forget.....July 4th is right around the corner! That's definitely picnic opportunity and a great time to fly our colors!

I spent this spring and early summer cleaning my garden and believe it or not, I'm still not finished! The quickly warming days chase me inside before I can accomplish all I want and need to do, but not to despair.....tomorrow's morning comes newly afresh and a whole lot cooler....so I pick up where I left off the day before.

June is a Big Wedding Month!
Make yours special!

Hays Wedding-Happy Couple
Last summer was a big year for the Hays Family. This is the Happy Couple! Here are some pics from their wedding. They had such a wonderfully fresh approach. Daughter marries her sweetie who is stationed in the beautiful state of Hawaii. A very good combination for a "Texas Luau" when you are thinking fun, flowers, and food. The reception pictures certainly prove that, not to mention that this family is fun loving and not afraid to step out of the norm when it comes to happy occasions!
Hayw Wedding-Table Decor
They used Table Top Plant Stands on every table for their centerpieces, and large stands and porch hangers throughout the reception area.
Hayes Wedding-Lg Stand
They did a great job and had a lot of fun painting the pots to match the colors of the table covers. How bright and cheerful this party was!
Hays Wedding-Mom and Dad
And here's Mom and Dad, dancing the night away....so happy. I'm sure they collapsed later, but I think this pic says they had a great time. I love weddings. But, back to the story.......don't hesitate to make your occasion your own. Everyone has a special style and ability. Let it shine! Good job Hays Family! And thanks for sharing your special day with us!
Another Wedding Idea
A Little More Foo Foo

Wedding DisplayHere's
another idea for something a little different. Using a Patio Plant Stand, a clay pot, some paper mache boxes, ribbons and bows, and some silk leaves and flowers....this decoration really dresses up the sign in table for your guests.
Wedding Display enlarged
Here's a close-up of the decoration. It's made to look like layers of a cake stacked up! Instructions for making this decoration will be on the web site after June 28th. Become a Friend of Friendship's Garden to access the membership area where the instructions can be printed.

Go here and listen to Tom Harper's story, "Another Day", then read the testimonials. Jerry and I have been taking these for several months now and have experienced some great improvements in our health. Contact us for more information and to hear our personal testimonies!
Summer Plants
Easy to Grow and Care For

Table Top SucculentsHere's a great little pic of succulents in a Table Top plant stand. I admit that I've fallen in in love  with succulents. I can't help it. They are easy to grow and easy to propagate. Have you tried them lately? There are so many to choose from I never know quite where to begin. I think all of the beautiful colors of purslane, from the salmon to the deep wine, are exceptional and add great color to any display. Visit your local garden center to choose from the many varieties of succulents that are available. You will be delighted with them as you watch them grow and fill out your plant stand. Oops! Did you break off a little piece by accident? No worries....just stick it in some dirt, water it, keep it in the shade and watch it grow into a whole new plant......how easy is that! These plants work well with any size of our plant stands. All you have to do is decide how much of a statement you want to make.
Succulents in Strawberry pots
Here's a great pic of succulents in strawberry pots on a large plant stand. This was really fun and eventually got so big you couldn't see the pots very well.

Herbs for Summer!
More Easy to Grow Plants

Herbs in Patio StandDon't forget easy to grow herbs. They are so happy here in this Patio Plant Stand. This size will hold a bit more than the Table Top Stand and will make a great statement on a buffet table next to the salad. Let your guests pinch their own!
