Winner!-Large Plant Stand Category |
|
Mr. Wilson is pleased to present the Winner in the Large Plant Stand Category. This submission by Lynn U. of Fairmont, WV is the epitomy of what we all hope to achieve when constructing our plant stands. Lynn has used a wide variety of upright and trailing plants from scavoela (fan flower) to callibrochoa (million bells) and including geraniums among several other goodies. Her choices of color and cascading plants is certainly pleasing to the eye and the little decorative house at the base is a very nice decorative touch. Lynn sent in several pictures of her creations and I would invite you to view her submissions in the photo gallery. She told us she just couldn't take enough pictures of her plant stands. She obviously had a great time creating them. Congratulations, Lynn, and thank you so much for your entries!

Winner of the Decorative Pots Category goes to Stephanie C. of Bryan, TX. She and her daughter painted the pots together. Can you tell they are in A & M country? What a great blend of colors, shapes, and creativity to show in the neighborhood! I'll bet they had a lot of fun doing this together project. Good job, ladies and congratulations on your win! |
Erin O. of Houston, Texas takes the prize in the Topiary Division. She has done a beautiful mixture of alyssum, petunias, pansies, and dianthus in wonderfully contrasting colors. I love the way alyssum cascades over the pot edges. Great job, Erin. The topper is a nice touch, too! The topiary is made using the large Incredible Plant Stand and the Topiary Spacers. Erin has the option of using this look or converting back to the whimsical look whenever she wishes. Order your Topiary System HERE

Stephanie C of Bryan, TX takes another "Winner!" in the Hanger division. She's opted to try a new look that works really well--galvanized buckets filled to overflowing with lots of green and a touch of pink. What a beautiful contrast the silver and green make! And this is a phenominal way to show how unlimited we are in our container usage. Looks like Stephanie has done it again!!

And last, but certainly by no means least, we present the winner of the TableTop category, Carie C from Chappell Hill, TX. Her TableTop Plant Stand has been placed in a bright spring basket and ceramic containers filled with cactus and a succulent take this great spring idea to another level. The dusty miller in the basket offers nice color contrast yet remains in the soft pastel colour pallette. The little bunny and bow add just the right touch to finish off an obviously thought out display and truly does "Welcome Spring!". An entry certainly deserving first place! Congratulations and thank you!
