Eucalyptus Tree
Here is a project that will take a considerable amount of time but I know you will be proud of. This is a Eucalyptus tree and although I made this one on a Large Incredible Plant Stand, I would encourage you to use the Patio or the Table Top for a much smaller version than the 4 foot one pictured here. The large stand is placed in a spray painted 12" clay pot, and the pot filled with rock. I then pushed rectangular green flower foam down onto the upright part of the stand, covering the entire upright portion. I cut sprigs of Eucalyptus from bunches purchased from my local craft store and inserted them into the foam blocks, putting the larger lengths at the bottom. I also used greenery picks for added interest. Bows and decorations on picks were also inserted in strategic places to finish the "tree". Twinkle lights are always good for extra sparkle, too! As I said, this large version was quite a project, so unless you have a lot of time, I would do a smaller version. Also, the eucalyptus is usually dyed and can drip, so put this display outside so the dye won't drip on your floor or carpet. If using a smaller version as a centerpiece, cut a round piece of clear plastic that will extend out beyond the longest eucalyptus branches to protect your table cover.

Poinsettia Tree Poinsettia Tree
I couldn't help sending you this very simple idea that was shared with me by a good friend, Margie. Here's my version with simple directions for a quick, easy, and beautiful tree. I used the Large Incredible Plant Stand in a 12" clay pot, spray painted red and 1/2 filled with landscape rocks. I found poinsettias at Home Depot in plastic 6" pots. The drain holes in the bottom are all the way around the outside. Slide the pots straight onto the plant stand on alternate sides through the drain holes. You don't even have to lean the pots over! Remember, Poinsettias are tropicals, so don't put them out in the cold. They also like bright light. I used 6 plants total to accomplish this quick display. Wrap a garland around the top of the pot to hide the rocks.
Candy Holder Candy Holder
Here's a fun way to put out your candies for your guests to enjoy when they come calling for a Christmas visit. This is completed with the TableTop Plant Stand in a 6" spray painted clay pot. Fill the pot 1/2 full with rocks. Slide a couple of little Christmas baskets onto the plant stand at angles and secure with small cable ties. Fill the baskets with candies (or cookies), tie bows on to hide the plant stand, and wrap a little garland piece around the top of the pot to hide the rocks. I made these up and gave as gifts. They loved it and also the fact that they could take it apart and use it in the spring for planting! A multiple use gift for sure!
