FALL PLANTING AND DECORATING
Nancy

Hello from Texas!

I am delighted and excited to write to you this month! I have many new things to tell you about that we have been dilligently working on here at Friendship's Garden and there's so much more to come for this fall!

Our new web site is now up and it hasn't been without some difficulties. We are still working out some little glitches but foresee lots of great things coming from it. The photo gallery is exceptional and we are adding to it monthly. If you would like a photo of your plant stand creation to be shown there, send us your pictures. I have received several beautiful photos this month and I look forward to sharing them with you.

You will see a button on the top bar for the free email newsletter. If you are currently receiving the newsletter you will not need to sign up for that -- you are automatically going to continue to receive the newsletter.

You will also find our Garden Forum where you are welcome to join in the discussions, sharing your ideas, questions, and answers. I hope you will visit often!

One of our newest features is becoming a "Friend of Friendship's Garden". This is our new membership area where you are able to access decorating instructions that you can download and print both the instructions and pictures. Put them in a binder to save for future reference if you like! Detailed instructions for each of our products are also located in the Member's area. Special "Member's Only" discounts and sales will be presented throughout the year also, so you will definitely find it a great value should you choose to join.

Many new items will be added to the website as time goes on. We have had great fun visiting with other manufacturer's that have some wonderfully unique items we enjoy and thought you might like too. So be sure to visit from time to time and see what's new!

Last but certainly not least, please click on the prayer box and send us your prayer requests if you like. We would be honored to pray for you.

I hope you enjoy this new format.....and Happy Gardening!

Nancy

Stacking M & M'sCUSTOMER SUBMISSION!

I have said many times that our customers are the most creative and here's the proof! This photo was sent to me by Judith C. of Arlington, TX. Her daughter graduated this past spring and Judith had a great idea to use her Incredible Table Top Plant Stand as a functional and very yummy decoration!

The little plastic beach buckets are just the right size to hold the goodies! Judith put the plant stand into the bottom bucket and drilled holes in the bottom center of the top two smaller buckets. After tilting them in opposite directions, she used the colorful little shovels as scoops so the kids could help themselves to the M & M's. I love the way she co-ordinated the serving tray and then for contrast, used the colorful striped table cover. Kids love the bright primary colors and are sure to be excited when they see this!
Thanks, Judith for sending such a great idea. I'm sure this is sparking even more ideas in the creative minds of our readers!

Fall Planting and Decorating
Jim's Mums
This is a wonderful time of year to "think ahead" to the Fall gardening/decorating season. Whether you use live or "imitation" plants, flowers, fruit or vegetables, there is always an abundance of items waiting for you to just put them together for your enjoyment. There are great fall plants out there, such as Asters and mums, and you can be assured the snaps and pansies will re-appear shortly.Visit your favorite Garden Center for suggestions on what to use for the fall. Here is a great mum picture sent in from Jim L. in Austin, Texas. His mums last year were abundantly happy in their garden spot in his front yard. Not bad for a guy, right girls! Just kidding, Jim. We know you're a great gardener! What an eye catching display of beautiful fall color.

For those who prefer not to garden in the fall, there are great choices such as pumpkins or baskets filled with gourds and leaves. Be sure to read next month's newsletter for some great Harvest Ideas--coming soon!

Remember, the holidays are quickly approaching! We are happy to ship your plant stands to happy recipients for you! Visit soon to place your order for delivery right to their door in time for the biggest decorating season of the year!

Keep watching for the next newsletter and don't forget to pass them along to your friends.
Until next time,

Nancy Shelton
