The highly regarded Model Fuels Consortium (MFC), established for the development of simulation software and data targeted at cleaner and more efficient fuel engine combustion for automobiles, is now in its third year and held its annual meeting this month in beautiful San Diego, California. Building on the MFC's success, the second phase, MFC-II, held its kick-off meeting during the same week. Members representing the worldwide automotive engine and fuels industry gathered for an overview of the consortium's excellent progress and to determine future steps needed to meet the increasing demands for faster and more accurate engine simulation. |
