One Call,One Voice,One Mission

The Border Sheriff's Posse is dedicated to MAKING OUR NATION SAFER by educating, motivating and activating leaders and by supporting the law enforcement community through prayer and service.

About the Posse
| LinkAmerica established the Border
Sheriff's Posse in 2006 to "ride" the U.S. borders in intercession and to
"pardner" with
intercessors around the United States to protect the 31 counties along
the
United States/Mexico border.
In 2005, sheriffs of the Texas counties along the
Texas/Mexico border had formed the Texas Border Sheriffs' Coalition to speak with
one voice from the region. Later, the Texas sheriffs invited the sheriffs
of of all counties on the southern borders of California, Arizona and New
Mexico to join them in creating the Southwestern Border Sheriffs' Coalition.
In 2008 the Lord sovereignly linked the Border Sheriff's Posse with both coalitions. The purpose of the Border
Sheriff's Posse is to inform intercessors who have a heart to pray for the
crisis situation along primarily, though not limited to, our shared border with
Mexico. I regularly send current information and prayer points. We
support ALL law enforcement agencies, pray that illegal activity
will be stopped (drugs, human trafficking, etc.) and declare that those
who are slipping across America's borders to cause harm be exposed and
apprehended.
This is not about politics! This is about the protection of the United
States of America so that we might fulfill our destiny to help prepare the world for the return of Jesus. I am reminded that my great-uncle was the Sheriff in
Pierre, the capital of South Dakota, and my great-grandfather was the Sheriff
in the small town of Manzanola, Colorado. In 2006 I was visiting with a prophetic intercessor who did not know about the
Border Sheriff's Posse when she pointed her finger at me and said, "God
is pinning badges on hidden intercessors....like a Sheriff's badge,"
and, with that, she poked her finger into my shoulder! Are you being deputized by "The Sheriff" to aid in
law enforcement?" We'll "ride" the fence. We'll
catch rustlers, mend spiritual fences and sing some great trail songs along the
way as we worship over our borders.
The pastor of Azusa Mission in downtown LA probably had no idea what he was
doing when he gave me his new cowboy hat, but I sure did. A deputized
cowgirl needs a hat!
Seriously, this is sobering. For we who "hear the
children crying" this is an opportunity to pray for those who are trafficked for the worst possible purposes. Lawlessness abounds, and
unrestrained greed is rampant. It is critical that we take our place on
this fence.
Will you join me as we ride with the Lord, our Border Sheriff? Pam Faraone El Paso, TX LinkAmerica@sbcglobal.net
