Dear Posse,
This is an urgent prayer alert!
The stage is being set for a confrontation between the Gulf
Cartel and the Zetas in the city of Guerrero, Tamaulipas, MX, south of Zapata,
TX on Tuesday, March 23 or Wednesday March 24.
Until about a year ago, a man named Reyes Mejia was in
charge of the Zetas in Guerrero. More
recently he was moved to Monterrey and then to Reynosa. He has since defected from the Zetas and is
now a member of the Gulf Cartel. He
owned a gas station and store that was burned down 2 weeks ago. This morning Zetas burned down approximately
8 buildings connected to Mejia, including his homes, a funeral home and homes
belonging to people he knows.
People fleeing Guerrero have been reporting what is
happening:
About 70 trucks and SUVs belonging to the Gulf Cartel are
coming from Reynosa to confront the Zetas.
Zetas are traveling to Guerrero to confront the Gulf Cartel.
The Guerrero bus station has been filled with fleeing residents.
Officials are going door-to-door telling families
to stay inside for safety.
The government was supposed to begin closing streets
tonight.
PRAY FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL INNOCENT PEOPLE IN GUERRERO AND
THE SURROUNDING AREA.
PRAY NO ONE WILL LEAVE THIS WORLD WITHOUT AN OPPORTUNITY TO
KNOW JESUS AND RECEIVE FORGIVENESS FOR THEIR SINS.
Lord, we ask for a miracle tonight on behalf of the people
of Guerrero and the surrounding area.
We thank you for those who have been able to find a place of refuge, and
we pray for those who have no place to go and who will be staying in their
homes, hoping to be out of the line of fire.
May all of the precious souls seeking safety and refuge realize the only
safe place is in You. Draw them to
Yourself, even in their dreams. May
many pick up their Bibles and read Your word to their families. May all children have someone caring for
them, and may the elderly who are alone find a place of solace in You. May those who have never prayed call out to
You now. And Lord, may even the vilest
sinner have one more opportunity to repent and call on Jesus.
PRAY FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE UNITED STATES (Zapata
County, TX, Sheriff's Dept. is on high alert with increased patrols).
Father, we look to You tonight to protect and secure the
United States of America. Send confusion into the enemy's camp and confound his plans.
We build a wall of intercession around
our southern border, particularly Zapata County. We assign warring angels to secure our border and to protect ALL
law enforcement officers/officials who are on alert because of this
crisis. May these officers know they
are not alone. Let them sense Your
presence and be aware of Your help.
Give them a keen sense of "intuition" to do their jobs effectively. May all agencies work together, sharing
information and covering each other's backs.
Let any enemy of the United States be interdicted by U.S. law
enforcement. We speak these things in
the powerful name of Jesus! Amen! So be
it!
