Dear Posse,
I have just returned from the funeral for Lesley Enriquez
Redelfs, the woman who worked for the US Consulate in Juarez, and her husband,
Arthur Redelfs, a Detention Officer with the El Paso County Sheriff's
Department. It was attended by federal,
state and local law-enforcement officials from the US and Mexico. We were left with absolutely no doubt this
was a quality young couple who loved life and who were loved and revered by
everyone who knew them. It is
heartbreaking to think of their beautiful young daughter (under 1 year) growing
up without them. Lesley was 4 months
pregnant when they were murdered. Art
recently told his best friend how sure he was this would be a boy, and after
their deaths a report confirmed they were having a boy.
This morning's early news also brought more detail regarding
the third shooting victim associated with the US Consulate. The husband of another Consulate employee,
Jorge Alberto Salcido Ceniceros, left the party at the same time as the
Redelfs. He and his wife were Mexican
citizens living in Juarez, and he drove in the opposite direction as the
Redelfs. What was reported on today's
early news was that Salcido's wife and children were following him in another
vehicle, and she witnessed her husband being murdered. Apparently she ran over to the car and
begged the killers to stop shooting.
As sad as I feel about the loss of these precious lives,
there is something more going on in my spirit.
The only experience I have to compare this to is the sense I had the day
I drove to the Federal Courthouse in downtown El Paso to attend the trial of
the two VERY unjustly accused former Border Patrol agents. Even though I thought I was going to pray
because of my contact with the Assistant US Attorney who was prosecuting the
case and who had asked me to pray, the Lord spoke to me as I drove across
downtown that I was to pray for justice.
Once inside the courtroom, a heavy weight came over me when I saw the
two young men and felt instantly, "that could be my son." Minutes later, as the jury filed into the
small courtroom a second heavy weight seemed to come on me and I felt the
gravity of something deeper than the case.
I instantly realized there was MUCH MORE going on than met the natural
eye.
That is the sense I have about these murders.
TIPPING POINT
On 03.09.10 I reported, "An El Paso Times headline dated
02.21.10 read, "Juarez massacre (of 16 young people at a birthday party) may
prove tipping point in drug war." This
is how a cartel article expressed it... "The drop that caused the flooding was
the pressure of society because of the deaths of the kids in the fiesta of
Juarez..."
It is my hope and prayer that the murder of these two
innocent US citizens will be the tipping point for the US. WE MUST GET A HANDLE ON THE INSIDEOUS
SPREADING VIOLENCE THAT IS REACHING FURTHER AND FURTHER INTO THE UNITED
STATES. We have plenty of violence
already, but we don't see what is "out there" on the horizon. The SPIRIT OF VIOLENCE (corruption, too)
that already has a foothold here will be greatly empowered by what is
coming.
Please sound the alarm in the spirit and pray this will be
the tipping point for the US government.
Pray those who have the responsibility to "restrain evil" will become
alert to the growing threat on our southern border. Pray they will do more than throw money at the problem or put up
another partial fence as window dressing.
Pray they will care more about what is going on in Mexico than about how it will affect the US economically.
ANCIENT COVENANTS
Also in the 03.09.10 bulletin, I described the new
"Federation" (alignment of cartels) in Mexico.
Led by the Gulf Cartel, they continue to prosecute their war to wipe out
the Zetas.
Earlier this week I heard from a man who ministers in many
nations and who has seen nations with this kind of destruction and suffering
experience significant moves of God. He
talked about violence and death relating to the blood sacrifices required by
the Aztec/Mayan gods.
Within a couple of hours a trusted friend and intercessor
called to say she was praying through the Posse letter when the Lord began to
give revelation. She stated, "The Zetas
are operating in the same spirit as the old Aztecs, and reading what is going
on between the Zetas and the other cartels is almost like reading something out
of a history book. In the spirit, the
battle is between the Aztecs and Mayans, who were very much into blood
sacrifice." She also understood that
the dark side believes this violence is preparing the way for the return of
Quetzlcoatl in 2012.
Many of us have focused on these ancient deities with
our strategic prayer groups.
RENEWING COVENANTS
On 03.15.10 an El Paso Times article titled AZTEC NEW YEAR
CELEBRATION (which was on the 13th and celebrated on the 14th)
showed festival dancers in full costume and colorful headdress performing a
"dance that is thousands of years old and is part of an offering ceremony."
FILL THE BOWLS
I KNOW that intercessors in Mexico have repeatedly
repented of, renounced and broken the covenants with these gods. Let's join them in intercession, declaring
these old pacts will be broken. THE DAY
WILL COME WHEN THE BOWLS WILL BE FULL, and soon one prayer or one declaration
will be "the drop that causes the flooding of His Spirit" over the nation of
Mexico.

Juarez, the murder capital of North America...
...where sin abounds...grace is ready to overflow... We believe that Juarez has
the maximum potential to demonstrate the principles of transformation and to do
it in such a way that all of North America, and beyond, will be impacted.
We know this breakthrough will not come without risks and struggles, but God is
able and the city is crying out for help.
To that end, Poncho Murguia, my spiritual son and Harvest Evangelism's point
man in Mexico, has found extraordinary grace with the
President and First Lady of Mexico... We will be meeting with
the Catholic Bishop and close to 100 priests, hundreds of pastors, and at least
500 top end marketplace leaders and influencers... we are trusting God to bring
them and their spheres of influence into the Kingdom so they
will be used to transform their city. Father Dimitri Sala, a born again,
Bible believing, Holy Spirit dependent Catholic
priest is teaming up with us.
...I am writing...to ask for your fervent, constant prayer for the next four days
since (humanly speaking) we are a target, both spiritually and in the
natural. But we know that God is our shield and that under His wings we
are safe. Nevertheless, intercession is what will decide the magnitude of
our victory and eliminate casualties on our side...

This coming Monday and Tuesday, March
22 and 23, a special prayer initiative will be held with prayer leaders and
some public officials. Some of these
same officials have already received death threats from the narco-traffickers.
Please pray with us for His guidance and
anointing, along with a strong sense of His discernment and authority. Pray too for protection for all of us and
our families from any backlash or attack of the evil one and those he
controls. Pray that the forces of
darkness and violence will be bound and their influence broken over the land
and that the government will be able to prevail over the cartels, capturing
their leaders and destroying their drug empire.
Thanks for your support in prayer. It will make a huge difference, thanks be to
God!

Lord, I thank You for these men who are leading efforts to see Your
Spirit move in the nation of Mexico. We pray You will guide them with Your eye
upon them, give them wisdom from above, bring them into the courts of kings, and
give them favor and open doors at all levels of Mexico's government. Thank You for all those who will bring about
a healing of the land of Mexico.
As the land becomes free, we ask that You set the people free. We lift up every evangelistic and
compassionate ministry in Mexico. May they have all they need - supernatural
provision - to minister to and reach the people who are so much on Your heart.
By Your Spirit, sweep untold millions of
Mexico's very precious people into
Your Kingdom. We pray these things in
the name of Your son Jesus, and in His identity which is being formed in each of
us. So be it!
And Lord, bless and keep safe each dear member of this Posse...
