By now you might have heard more about the killings of the
three people with ties to the US Consulate.
In two separate incidents minutes apart they were each targeted as they
left a party in Juarez.
This story has received widespread attention by the national media. Mexico's federal Attorney General is
apparently overseeing this case, though that doesn't necessarily inspire
confidence from those who knew of him when he was the AG of Chihuahua, the state
in which Juarez is located. It is
reported that US agencies assisting in the investigation include the FBI, DEA, ICE
(Immigration and Customs Enforcement), BATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and
Firearms) and our El Paso County Sheriff's Office. The very violent Azteca gang - enforcers for
the Juarez cartel - are believed to have carried out these murders.
URGENT INFORMATION
Yesterday I received intel about a plan to claim the murders were a result of mistaken identity. I was asked not to report this at the time. When this morning's El Paso Times article did not make such a claim, I hoped perhaps it would not be made at all. However, today several news stations including Pro8 News out of Houston have reported that the
shooters supposedly believed they were shooting at members of a rival
cartel. This claim hardly seems credible since both shootings happened as the victims left a birthday party for the child of one of their consulate coworkers. Clearly, they were being watched and targeted.
A more honest assessment was given by Phil Jordan, former Special Agent in Charge of El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC), "Cartels don't recognize borders
or titles. They have crossed the line
in killing Americans." He compared
these murders to the 1985 murder of DEA agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena in Mexico
25 years ago - not the same type of murder, but the response required...
"The
U.S. has to react...the whole game changes from minor to major leagues."

The State Department's latest report on human rights practices in nations
around the world mentions the 8,000 people, mostly Mexicans, who have died in
Mexico from drug-related violence. Some of those victims are named, and details
of their deaths are disclosed. None of the 30 U.S. citizens who were
murdered in Mexico between Jan. 1, 2009 and June 27, 2009 are included in the
report.
When asked why that was the case, Michael Posner, assistant secretary of the
State Department's Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, told
CNSNews.com that the report "is intended to give a broad view."

One in custody, two injured after cartel shooting in McAllen, TX Wal-Mart

Double Kidnapping at South McAllen Wal-Mart
Two men are recovering from being shot during a
double kidnapping outside south McAllen's Wal-Mart on Sunday night. McAllen Police Sgt. Feliberto Jimenez
said two men in their 20s were at the Wal-Mart at
1200 block of East Jackson Avenue around 10 p.m. Sunday night. Jimenez said the two were kidnapped at
gunpoint but were later found shot. One
of the alleged victims allegedly escaped and made it to an EMS station. The
other was allegedly released from his captors.
Jimenez said one was in a local hospital in stable condition
while the other one was already released from the hospital. McAllen Police Sgt. Joel Morales said
multiple suspects are in custody and being held for questioning.
THE
DESPERATE HOURS
Posse, I watched this program
when it aired two weeks ago. It is
a very significant story which can help give some insight into the kidnapping
epidemic in Mexico. This tragedy is
heartbreaking - most situations do not turn out well at all. This accurately portrays the reality of the corruption in Mexico so
widespread most people never contact the authorities for any type of
emergency. The program is called "The Desperate Hours."
POSSE PRINCIPLE -
PUSHING BORDERS OUT
If we are going to
secure the borders of the US, we must push out from our borders and see what is
coming from far off. Mexico is in
crisis. As we support Mexico, we are
also protecting our own nation. I am
planning a Summit for intercessors and leaders who have a heart for Mexico and
who believe they have some understanding of the spiritual issues which are
preventing Mexico from reaching her destiny.
If you are one of those, I would like to hear two things from you:
1) that you are interested
in participating, and
2)
what expertise you have about any issue, past or present, which affects Mexico.
The following
prophetic word for Mexico was sent to a good friend of the Posse in 2008 while
he still lived in Florida and had NO IDEA he would ever live in Texas. The word is so much in line with what many
have heard the Lord say about Mexico that I believe it is time to pray into this
word.

women of God for I have placed you on the hearts of many and reformation will
