Dear Posse,
QUIET BEFORE THE
STORM
There is an eerie quiet in the expected battlegrounds of
Mexico. US law enforcement officials are watching and waiting. One official told me he doesn't like the
quiet-it feels like the lull before the storm.
MESSAGE TO THE PEOPLE
A letter titled Message to the People has been
circulating through war torn Mexico. It
begins, "DO NOT WORRY, DON'T BE PARANOID THIS SOON WILL END, THIS
RE-ORGANIZATION. SOON THE EXTORTIONS,
KIDNAPPINGS, RIGHT TO TURF WILL END.
THERE WILL BE PEACE WITHOUT Z.
LIVE WITHOUT FEAR."
Apparently all the cartels are aligned against the Zetas and planning to wipe them out. My sources say the Zetas have called in
reinforcements from other parts of the nation.
It is just a matter of time before the fighting begins again.
The cartels are now driving around
with their initials or logos on their vehicles so everyone knows who they are,
including the police. The implication
here is the police will not be interfering with the new alliance between El Chapo Guzman of the Sinaloa Cartel, the
Gulf Cartel and La Familia (a very occult organization out of Michoacan). The letter also states people should not
get in the way of the shoot-outs because they are going to "eradicate this trash (Zetas)."
The other cartels blame the Zetas
for weakening their business, saying, "The
Zetas' kidnappings, charging of tariffs (for use of the routes they control),
and their not caring about the peace of the Mexican public has messed things
up." A promise is included that
says part of the agreement of the new alliance will be respect for the
"plazas," no additional quotas charged (for using a route controlled by another
gang to transport drugs into the US, since they're all in this alliance) and
kidnappings will be prohibited.
Supposedly (and not at all difficult to believe) there is an agreement
with the Federal Government that the Mexican military will be pulled out in
less than 3 years if all these things are controlled. "This way there will be free
commerce (drug trade) without violence... "
Warnings for the people of Reynosa are
included... "Do not let your children go out to go school," and for the people of
Monterrey... "Continue with your life normally but be watching out for any
situation... do not go into paranoia."
The people are told not to resist if someone takes their vehicle... "Don't
expose your life in any way."
The closing of this letter reads, "The new FEDERATION."
It remains to be seen how long the
federation will exist, but for the time being it does exist with the goal of
wiping out the Zetas.
TIPPING POINT
An El Paso Times headline dated
02.21.10 read, "Juarez massacre (of 16
young people at a birthday party) may prove tipping point in drug war." This is how the cartel article expressed
it ... "the drop that caused the flooding
was the pressure of society because of the deaths of the kids in the fiesta of
Juarez..."

Thanks for your concern and prayers...things
are totally chaotic in Miguel Aleman...absolutely
no law and order-- the police are either dead or in hiding. The city's
leadership has mostly fled to Roma. Most medical doctors have fled the
area...so the injured and dying have no one to help them. All schools are
closed. Those who can't leave the country are mostly in their homes with great
fear. We are fine... I'm crossing over 3-5 times per day. We've expanded the
Dream Center ministry-- helping the hungry with beans and rice along with a lot
of ministry. We're moving in the direction of daily services at 10 each morning
with the kitchen operating 7 days per week. We believe this is the Body of Christ's greatest hour- a foundation for

Father, as I ponder
this report, I continue to wonder, "What price peace?" What will it take to allow the people of
Mexico to live in peace? Compromise
doesn't seem like a good thing. There
are so many possible answers, but right now the dear Mexican people would
willingly go back to the way things were a few years ago. In those days cartel fought cartel, but they
did not kill innocent women and children.
Lord, we implore You to cause the Mexican population to look to You for
peace, first of all for their own lives.
May they run into You, their Strong Tower, and be saved. Pour out Your Spirit on Mexico. We stand with the intercessors of Mexico who
are crying out for Divine intervention for their nation. We hold up their hands. We lend them our strength. We support them, as they will one day
support us. As the bowls of iniquity
(corruption and violence) are filled over Mexico, may the bowls of intercession
be filled to overflowing. We remind You
of Your response to the people in Exodus chapter 3. "I have surely seen the oppression of My people... and have heard
their cry... for I know their sorrows. So
I have come down to deliver them..." May this be the hour You visit Mexico! We ask these things in the name of Your Most
Holy Son, Jesus. Amen! So be it!!!
