Tonight I have several things to share with you.

You all were very gracious not to flood me with emails when I sent out a Bulletin with a heading that read "Nuevo Laredo, MX is in Lockdown" when the story was about Reynosa!

WORD IS GETTING OUT

Several people have sent articles they are beginning to find on the internet regarding the war that is raging in Mexico.  At times I will include links to some of the articles, but as often as possible the information will be from sources on the front lines of the battle who are able to give up-to-date information.  Thanks to ALL of you who have picked this up and are helping alert other intercessors and leaders.

UPDATE ON THE SIEGE IN MEXICO

In the 02.23.10 Bulletin about the siege to take over the border city-by-city and town-by-town, I included a section titled, "Why the Sudden Increase in Border Violence?"  The bottom line was that 8 DTO's (drug trafficking organizations) had divided up loyalties and aligned into two mega cartels.   As of today, the word is "this is all messed up and nobody knows who anybody is with."  Some cartel members have defected and other cartels have picked up new members. 

There are unconfirmed reports that El Chapo Guzman of the Sinaloa cartel called a temporary truce. 

On 02.26.10 I reported somewhere between 200 to 400 cartel members (reinforcements) were on their way to Nuevo Laredo to "get rid of the Zetas once and for all."

HISTORY-The Zetas were originally Mexican special forces who were trained by the US at Ft. Benning, GA.  Soon after they were trained (tactics of our best elite forces) and back in Mexico, they were corrupted by the cartels.  Those forces became trainers; hence the same training, including assassinations, etc, is now being used to reproduce Zetas.  They were originally the enforcers for the Gulf cartel, became too big for their britches (and wanted to make the much bigger bucks) and evolved into their own cartel.  That makes them bitter enemies of the Gulf cartel led by El Chapo Guzman, one of the wealthiest men in the world and certainly THE MOST WANTED MAN IN MEXICO.

It has been reported that Guzman has already taken over Nuevo Laredo and many of the Zetas are dying off.  However, they are probably still in control of some towns.

THE VIOLENCE IS EXPECTED TO PICK UP TONIGHT OR TOMORROW

This word is from a reliable source.  There have been other reports of a lull in the fighting that is expected to erupt again.  In the little town of Sandoval, MX, where the children's shelter we reported about is located, a victory report has circulated through prayer circles that the cartels left town and the director was able to go out and get supplies for the 45 children and several women who live there.  An intercessor had felt/prayed there were seeds of revival in that place (shelter), which was confirmed.  We read that 10 men whose electrical trucks were confiscated by the cartel members to block the entrances to the town fled to the shelter in terrible fear for their lives and the shelter director was able to lead 8 of the 10 to the Lord.  A battle for control of Sandoval was expected to take place this weekend.

WHAT PRICE PEACE?

This is a difficult question to answer.  Some people in Mexico would be grateful for one cartel to be completely in charge and for the government to allow them to operate with impunity, as long as there are no more bodies in the streets.  It isn't a great solution but they are desperate for the violence to stop. 

CLOSING WITH A PROPHETIC WORD AND A SCRIPTURE

Last night I received the word from an intercessor (and so much more) who lives in Monterrey, MX.  Later she wrote again, clarifying, "much of what I said was for all the intercessors praying... I sensed a sagging and weariness from many, but this is the time we must rise up - PURIM IS TOMORROW."

This evening I had a vision that was a quick flash of you when I wasn't even thinking about you or praying at that time.  I feel the Lord gave me this glimpse to share with you what I see that you are doing in the Spirit through your emails and our prayers, partnering with God's angelic hosts.  You were flying low up and down over the border like an angel (flowing robe), enthusiastically waving (with a big smile of your face) a yellow (joy) flag (signal, rallying cry).  I saw oil dripping from the flag, and it was saturating the earth along the border.  I saw that you are truly rallying the Kingdom Army of Heaven and earth with multitudes of angels flying with you for this showdown of authority. 

I believe the Lord is saying, "I have raised you up as a banner to rally My troops to SEE and AGREE that I have won the war and will support you in each Kingdom conflict.  Greater are those that are for you than those against you!  As My people are gathered together in one Spirit through My name, I will let JOY arise....an overflowing joy that is not based on what you see or hear but on what you BELIEVE.  All things are possible to those who will believe (Mark 9:23-24).  It will be your faith-filled agreement in the face of these wicked forces determined to annihilate as Haman set to do against My chosen ones that will 'reverse the curse,' as Esther and Mordecai victoriously overcame this same spirit centuries ago - almost to the day!

Confusion is being released into the enemy's camp as the striking of a hammer as you REJOICE because you can SEE the waiting victory, which will BLIND the enemy and cause him to fall into his own traps.  Keep your eyes on Me, says the Lord, and rejoice because you know the truth.  The winds of My Spirit are fiercely swirling over the border and these nations.  I am stirring the hearts of each person to answer My invitation: Choose this day who you will serve!
