Dear Posse,

NUEVO LAREDO, MEXICO IS LOCKED DOWN

This evening I received a call from a strategic source of intel stating they crossed back into the United States from Reynosa, MX exactly at 7 PM, and moments later received a call from the people they had just left stating the city went into lockdown precisely at 7 PM.  Our information is that while the battle has continued to rage and one of the cartels has been dominating the fight, the other group called in reinforcements.  It is known those reinforcements are already in the city, hence the lock down.  When my friends received this information they were told, "It's gonna be a bad weekend."  Posse, that's the biggest understatement ever.  It will be a bloodbath.  Please pray for all of the innocent people who are terrified, locked in their homes, and can't risk going out to buy needed supplies.

In the past few days while ministering in Reynosa (they take in teams) our source has been run off the road by a convoy of Gulf Cartel vehicles (painted with large blue CDG for Cartel del Gulfo), been in the vicinity where 8 people were killed in a shoot-out and narrowly missed being in locations where gun battles erupted.  Please pray for our source who is still suffering trauma from what she experienced.   

Some years ago this same source received a prophetic word that she would be taking teams where there will be real bombs and bullets. She thought that meant Israel, not the back door of the United States of America.

GET RID OF THE ZETAS IN NUEVO LAREDO ONCE AND FOR ALL!

Tonight a confidential source called to say something major is happening.  Between 200 and 400 cartel members are on their way to Nuevo Laredo, MX, directly across the border from Laredo, TX, intending to "get rid of the Zetas once and for all" in Nuevo Laredo.  This could certainly be another bloodbath.  Remember, in the way the cartels have aligned themselves, forming two major groups, the group that directly opposes the Zetas is the Sinaloa Cartel and those who have aligned with it.

Earlier this evening I spoke with Sheriff Sigi Gonzalez, Sheriff of Zapata County and the Chairman of the Southwest Border Sheriffs' Coalition (including Border Sheriffs from CA, AZ, NM, TX).  He told me Zapata County and Webb County (Laredo) are being placed on high alert because of the potential spillover of violence.

Sheriff Gonzalez, along with Sheriff Arvin West of Hudspeth County in West Texas, has been screaming for Congress to pay attention to the border, hoping to avoid such spillover.  It has been very difficult to see them disrespected by legislators who care about nothing but having a good photo-op with the Texas Sheriffs in their hats when they come to Washington asking for help.  We can give $1.4 billion to Mexico in the Merida initiative and vote down a paltry $100,000.00 for my Sheriffs.  Don't get me started!

Tonight Sheriff Gonzalez stated again, "This is going to get a lot worse.  There will be spillover."  Posse, it might not be today or tomorrow, but Sheriff Gonzalez has been right about everything he has predicted concerning the border since I have known him.  The same is true of Sheriff West.  They ask for help and few listen.

PROPHETIC INTERCESSION FOR PAN VIDA CHILDREN'S SHELTER

Earlier today a prophetic intercessor was especially burdened after reading the urgent request for prayer by the grandson of the shelter's director.  Apparently when a drug cartel took over the town of Sandoval, MX they locked everyone in the shelter, confiscated the electrical utility trucks and blocked the entrances to the town.  The boy sent the message, "Everybody stay away.  They expect a big war shoot-out on Saturday and Sunday.  Please keep us in your prayer."  This intercessor shared what flowed out of her as she prayed for these dear ones. "I prayed for revival.  As I prayed I sensed there was a strong presence of the Lord there, and I prayed for an outpouring of God's Spirit.  As land is being broken up (fighting for turf) in the natural, I prayed the Spirit would break loose idolatry, deception, generational religious strongholds, and that God would blind the enemy/wicked forces and keep the children hidden."  She sensed there were seeds of revival in that place and encouraged us to pray into that. 

Today I spent a significant amount of time alerting some in the media about what is going on.  If you have contacts in the media, I encourage you to help get the word out.  One of our prominent news anchors in El Paso was not aware of what is happening, but he spent much of the day reading and researching.  This link will lead you to the story that was on the 6 PM news.  Most of you know our Rusty Fleming by now, but for those who don't, he is the producer of the film Drug Wars: Silver or Lead.   Rusty is a dear friend to the Posse.

FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO VERIFY THESE REPORTS

Before this current border situation erupted, I accumulated information over time, sometimes several months, and digested it to put it in bite size pieces to share with the Posse.  That way I had time to see what patterns developed and get an overview of the situation instead of forwarding lots of individual articles.  Those letters were long and were intended to be kept for a season to give insight for prayer.

Current border events are developing so quickly that - if this situation continues to flare up, and there is NO DOUBT that it will - I will be sending out shorter updates much more often.  So, for clarification, when an urgent time-sensitive email goes out, it will be called a Posse Bulletin, which differentiates it from the regular Posse Letters.

Because many of you have circulated these Bulletins to your contacts (Thank you. Don't stop.), I am hearing from many people who want to receive the Posse emails.  Starting with this update, we will state clearly at the top of the form that people can click on the Subscribe link at the top of the page to sign up without needing to write me, which will save a lot of work for me and for Cathe Halford of Pray Texas who is an invaluable help in getting these emails to you.  When you forward an email, please do so from the link at the bottom of the page.  The forwarded email will have a Subscribe link at the top where the recipient can click to join the Posse, although you will not see this link on your copy of the email.

Since beginning to send out these Bulletins my time has been swallowed up, and I am at the computer and on the phone day and night.  This is absolutely not a complaint, but I need to explain that there isn't much time to communicate.  If I don't respond to you right away, please know I do not mean to be rude.  If you really need something from me, don't hesitate to ask again.  I may have honestly missed your request.
