I have just returned from an 18-day road trip where I attended a Human Trafficking training conference in LA, attended the Southwest Border Sheriffs' Coalition meeting in Yuma, and presented the third Border School in San Diego.  On the twelve hour drive back to El Paso the Lord spoke to me about preparing another Border School, so I have been working on that since arriving home.  Following is a portion of my closing message in San Diego.

DRUGS, MONEY AND VIOLENCE ARE LETHAL COMBINATION 
 
The Perfect Storm
In the list of things being prepared to take us out, the Perfect Storm the anti-Christ spirit has been brewing is almost ready.  If the created pandemic doesn't get us, the vaccine might.  Globalist bankers are playing cat and mouse with our monetary system.  We are led to the brink of destruction time and time again, yet not pushed off the cliff just yet.  We might have one more high cycle before the bubble is burst for good.  There are threats of bank holidays.  Bailouts have almost caused nationalization of our banks.  It is looking more and more like we will skip the Amero, not collect $200, and go straight to a global currency, not unlike what Russia's Medvedev presented to world leaders at the last G-8 meeting.  Between our food being genetically modified and its preparation outsourced to China, our supply is dwindling.  Not only is the environmental movement causing water resources to dry up because of a little minnow here or a 2" smelt there, but we are selling our water rights to China and the Middle East.  We live with the knowledge that any one of a dozen situations could trigger Martial Law. 
 
And just when we are aware of the foothold the New Age movement/emergent church has on many American churches, President Obama joined Cabinet Secretaries, Ambassadors and members of Congress on September 1st to pay tribute to what he called "a great religion and its commitment to justice and progress," as he welcomed American Muslim leaders to the event in the State Dining Room, where he told them, "Islam is part of America."
 
With all the problems we are facing, I continue to sense an urgency to make people aware of border issues, including encroaching drug war violence.
 
Bad Bart
Years ago in downtown El Paso the sheriff came in one night to see the saloon filled with people.  There were shady ladies dancing, tables filled with gamblers and the bar lined with people.  Everybody was having a good time.  The sheriff strode over to the saloonkeeper and gave him this warning... "If you hear that Bad Bart is coming, grab your cash and run.  If you can't get your cash, just run and hide.  Bad Bart is one bad guy." 
 
A couple of hours later someone pushed open the doors and cried out, "Bad Bart's coming, Bad Bart's coming!" 
 
Everybody fled, running over the saloonkeeper, who found himself on the floor under a table.  He cautiously stood and crept over to look out the doors.  He saw a man with long black matted hair riding a bear down Main Street, carrying a snake in each hand.
 
Soon the door slammed open and the man demanded, "Give me a bottle."  Shaking all over, the saloonkeeper took a bottle off the shelf and handed it to the man.  After breaking the top against the bar, the man chugged down the whiskey.  Then he smashed the bottle against the wall and turned to leave.  The saloonkeeper timidly said, "Mister, do you want another bottle?"  As the man hurried out the door he yelled, "Don't have time - Bad Bart's coming!"

PHARMAKEIA SPIRIT

From the days when drugs were used by Beatniks in Greenwich Village, to the days when motorcycle gangs figured out they could make money selling drugs, to the 60's when we learned to "tune in, turn on and drop out," to Nixon's "War on Drugs," to Nancy Reagan telling us to "Just say no," to the present when Jr. High kids are selling drugs, the pharmakeia spirit has invaded our nation.

In Down By the River, Charles Bowden wrote, "Drugs may be the major American story of our era, the thing that did more to alter behavior and law, that redistributed income to the poor far more dramatically than any tinkering with tax codes, and that jailed more people and killed more people than any US foreign policy initiative since the Viet Nam war."
 
Mind altering drugs date to ancient Babylonian religious rituals.  From Revelation 9:21, we get the idea that drug abuse will continue.  "And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries (the Greek word for drugs, pharmakeia, is translated as sorceries-a form of witchcraft connected with drug use) or their sexual immorality or their thefts."  
 
I highly recommend the out-of-print Scarlet and the Beast, volumes I, II and III by John Daniel, if you are able to locate them.  Volume III documents the use of drugs as the control mechanism of ancient and modern Mystery Babylon.  On page 26 Daniels writes, "The primary tool used...to strip a nation of its assets was, and still is, to declare a drug war on that nation." 
 
Another face of the pharmakeia spirit is seen in the battle to force health care reform, funded in great part by the drug lobby.  The Washington-based Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, PhRMA, is one of the largest and most influential organizations in Washington. 
 
Revelation 18:23 says of Mystery Babylon (modern day English Freemasonry, according to John Daniel), "For your merchants (drug/pharmaceutical dealers, some of the most powerful people on earth) were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery (witchcraft connected with drug use) all the nations were deceived (strayed from orthodoxy or piety - God's truth)."
 
"For your powerful merchants of drugs were the great men of the earth, for by your witchcraft and drug use all the nations strayed from God's truth."
 
Mystery Babylon is represented by the harlot (universal religious system) and the beast (universal political system).  This union of religion and government, the Babylonian system, will culminate in the one-world government (authority was given him over every tribe, tongue and nation) of  Revelation 13.
 
Two Witnesses - Rev. 11:3-6
 "And I will give power to my two witnesses... these are the two olive trees and the two lamp stands standing before the God of the earth.  And if anyone wants to harm them fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies... these have power to shut heaven so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they had power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues as often as they desire."
 
Who is going to address these systems?
The Harlot universal religious system will be addressed by the Spirit of Elijah, which is being released in the earth today.  The Beast universal political system will be addressed by the Spirit of Moses, which is being released in the earth today.
 
A personal note: Good reason to "count it all joy" when we have dealings with these religious or political spirits, because it is preparation to represent the two witnesses needed to address these systems.
 
MAMMON 
 
Mammon, the huge end-time spirit, is the force behind regional economic alliances, i.e. the EU and NAU (Los Tres Amigos as we are called), as well as trade alliances such as NAFTA, CAFTA, etc.  We all understand Mammon is behind the drug trade (and all illegal trade such as piracy, human trafficking and human smuggling).  Mammon is also behind the pervasive pharmaceutical drug industry.  Have you noticed the drug companies' increased marketing on television?  There are hardworking, caring men and women in the biotech industry, but that does not change the fact that high-tech marketing campaigns are about making money for major pharmaceutical companies. 
 
I was shocked last year when Texas Governor Rick Perry did an end run around the legislature by signing an executive order mandating all girls in 6th grade would be required to take the HPV vaccine.  How grateful I am that he was overridden.  Someone stood to make a bundle of money through that order.  I later heard his former chief of staff was working for Merck.
 
For the past several years I have kept a file of articles about objectionable marketing cases and millions and millions of dollars in fines charged to drug companies for lying about study results, illegal marketing, and marketing drugs for uses not approved by the FDA.  In September 2009, Pfizer Inc., the world's largest drug maker, will pay a record $2.3 billion civil and criminal penalty over unlawful prescription drug promotions.  The $1.2 billion criminal fine is the largest in U.S. history.
 
As the cartel battle for control of transportation routes into the heart of the US rages, remember that those routes are the most lucrative turf in the world.  Ten billion dollars annually pass across the southern border of the US and into the coffers of the drug trafficking organizations (DTO).  That is why they do what they do.  The drug trade is a high-tech, well-organized business.  It's all about the bottom line.
 
Rusty Fleming, in Drug Wars, Narco-Warfare in the 21st Century, writes, "The narcos have the best lawyers money can buy and they are acutely aware of the NAFTA agreement and not only do they know it chapter and verse, but they are depending on it at every turn.  When that agreement was signed and disclosed to the public, the narcos were given a twenty-year business plan as written and ratified by the best government lawyers on the planet.  They follow the business models of the same manufacturers, transporters and distributors that agreement was to benefit.  They immediately started shifting their operations to become compatible to the same trade agreement that governs Fed-Ex, General Motors and Wal-Mart.  By all accounts 80% of their product that enters into the United States today comes through those channels and the 20% going through the gaps in the fence will simply be diverted to the same channels as soon as the fence is built."
 
John Daniel states in Scarlet and the Beast, "Free trade and the increase of drug trafficking go hand-in-hand, for free trade means limited inspections or none at borders," and later, "By nature, nations with narco-backed economies are corrupt.  Not only are their citizens poor, the corrupt narco-rich, who fund their own private armies to dispose of their enemies, bribe corrupt politicians so they can operate with impunity."
 
VIOLENCE
 
The story of Bad Bart, told by Sheriff Larry Dever, Cochise County, Arizona, at the National Sheriffs' Association Annual Training Conference in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in June, couldn't have depicted more clearly what I see coming to the United States.
 
I want to make you familiar with the term narco-terrorist.  Narco represents narcotic drugs, and terrorist is one who instills intense, overwhelming fear.  A narco-terrorist systematically uses violence, terror and intimidation to achieve an end.
 
Colombian traffickers have formed alliances with Mexican cartels.  The FARC in Colombia is using the production and sale of cocaine for Mexican cartels, which will subsequently be sold to the US, to fund their insurgency.  We all remember the violent situation in Colombia.  Nightly news pictures of bloodshed and death are etched in our minds.  While AP reporter Mark Stevenson said Mexican cartels have morphed into full-scale mafias, running extortion and protection rackets and trafficking everything from people to pirated DVD's, (definitions: Human smuggling is a crime against a border and human trafficking is a crime against a person) another writer went so far as to say the Mexican cartels have become de facto military organizations and now more closely resemble Colombia's FARC....
 
Violence now permeates the fabric of Mexico's society.
 
An Associated Press article printed in the El Paso Times on Sunday, August 23, 2009, declared, "The growing reach of the cartels has meant an explosion of bloodshed in Mexico where drug violence has claimed more than 11,000 (now 13,000) lives in the past three years."  That number is more than double the number of Americans killed in Afghanistan and Iraq since 2001. 
 
Colonel Oliver North, on a Fox News "War Stories" segment, stated, "The grim reality of narco-terror has permeated Mexico.  A 2,000 mile border separates us from the bedlam next door.  Can this line be protected?"
 
David Gaddis, DEA's Chief of Operations, said recently, "...the five principle drug cartels (Gulf, Juarez, Sinaloa, Tijuana and Michoacan's La Familia) in Mexico all have their tentacles and surrogate cells operating throughout the US, which results in...violence in our own country."  Attorney General Eric Holder warned that those same cartels are now "in our own backyards." Government reports indicate cartels are in more than 230 US cities.
 
A few months ago, a bold front-page headline read, "Gang violence increase feared."  In the spirit, I saw, violence increase feared.  Today's headline (10/4/09) shouts in big black letters, "Juarez violence emerging worry."  
 
Details of the violence perpetrated by cartel enforcers sound like stories from Saddam Hussein's Iraq.  Cutting out tongues, pulling out teeth or fingernails one by one, using a blowtorch on genitals or cutting them off, putting people in acid, feeding people to lions or tigers, or torturing them but keeping them alive to torture continually, kidnapping and torturing family members as punishment, raping and sexually mutilating women, as well as an increase in human trafficking are some of the ways the spirit of violence is operating.

A source told of a high-level government official in Mexico City who refused to be corrupted. They kidnapped one of his daughters, forced him to watch as they raped her, then flayed back the skin on her wrists, cut her veins and forced him to watch her bleed to death.  Then they said, "You have two more daughters, are you going to help us?"
 
On page 70 of The Harvest, Rick Joyner writes, "In the future life will become very cheap throughout the world.  Because of plagues, wars, riots and natural disasters, death will be witnessed almost daily by everyone.  Burial will become as big a problem... Police will pay only casual attention to murders and other violent crimes taking place right in front of them.
 
The level of violence against women throughout the world is staggering.
A recent report stated that 25% of men in Africa acknowledged committing rape.  I encourage you to pay specific attention to increasing levels of violence against women.  It is systemic in most Arab nations.  The courts in England are already entertaining elements of Sharia Law. 
 
In July 2009, police in San Antonio answered a call to a home where a 3 1/2 week old baby boy lay dismembered.  Three toes had been chewed off, his face torn away, his head severed and his brain ripped out.  His mother ate his brain and some other body parts before stabbing herself and partially slashing her throat.  She told officers the devil made her do it.
 
As Intercessors, we understand that with every abortion (blood sacrifice) performed in our nation, the dark side is empowered.  In Satanic rituals, the more people can be made to suffer, the more power their tormentors expect to receive.  We have heard horrific stories before, but I believe we need to be on guard for the increasing release of violence in the United States. 
 
When I think of the word violence, a city that comes to mind is Las Cruces, NM.  The number of child abuse cases resulting in death is astounding.  My city of El Paso, forty miles away, does not remotely come close to the kind of violence found there.  One case stands out because of its horrific, violent nature. 

Baby Brianna, 5-month-old Brianna Lopez, died July 19, 2002.  She showed signs of having been beaten, bitten and sexually abused.  Her autopsy revealed a large number of broken bones at different stages of healing. 

The 20-year-old mother was sentenced to 27 years for child abuse resulting in death.  The mother's twin brother received 51 years for child abuse resulting in death, conspiracy and criminal sexual penetration.  Brianna's 22-year-old father was sentenced to 57 years for child abuse resulting in death, child abuse, conspiracy and criminal sexual penetration.  Her paternal grandmother and another uncle received 60 days for failure to report abuse. Six years were later added to the sentences of the three main defendants.
 
As I followed the story, I read that the father and uncle admitted to being drunk and playing catch with Baby Brianna.  They acknowledged they sometimes missed and dropped her. 
 
I asked the Lord what spirit is behind this, and He immediately answered, "Violence."  I actually expected him to say some kind of perversion with children, so I was surprised by His answer. 
 
In the spring of 2003, a team of four intercessors from El Paso took a weekend prayer journey to Las Cruces.  Each had a different primary assignment from the Lord, but we stayed on task for two and one half intense days.  At the point that I was to open a gate in Las Cruces, I also confronted the spirit of violence.
 
By the time we arrived home late Sunday night, I took a shower and fell into bed, exhausted.  Within a short time I forced myself to wake up from a deep sleep because I was having a horrible dream about a little child.  I commanded that thing to get out, and quickly went back to sleep.  The same dream came again, and once more I forced myself awake.  Livid that the spirit of violence had followed me home, I flew out of bed and got rid of it.  I tell you this story to say I have tangled with that spirit on some level, and it is very powerful.  We, as intercessors, know how to deal with it, but most people don't have a clue and have few resources to fight it.

In November of 1999, Sam and I were invited to a dinner fellowship for several couples at the home of members of our church.  Though we all knew each other and were friendly, we were an eclectic group of Christian leaders, not ones you would typically think of bringing together for fellowship.  After dinner we were seated in the living room enjoying dessert while trying to have a conversation without getting into things on which we might disagree.  An older single missionary kept pushing us to talk about the latest word from the prophets, with little response.  Finally he said, "Pam, you've attended some big conferences this year.  What were the prophets saying?"  I avoided answering as long as I could, but he kept pushing.  I mentioned several little things, and finally said, "Well, Cindy Jacobs prophesied there would be terrorism in public schools."
 
As soon as the words were out of my mouth, one of the pastors yelled, "Our God will not let that happen!"  And with that he pounded the end table and continued, "He is not going to beat up His bride..."  (Interesting reaction, since Columbine had already happened.)  As soon as he took a breath Sam and I rose "as one" and said we had to leave.
 
I wanted to say, "If that is true, is He going to apologize to Christians in the Sudan and other parts of the world who have had such persecution?  Will He tell them, 'Hey, I'm sorry but those namby, pamby westerners wouldn't have made it if I did not get them out of here?"
 
Two months later I was in Denver with my sister after her husband's massive heart attack when my phone rang.  I answered Sam with "Hi honey," and he named the man and said, "He's dead."  The fear of God went all over me.     
 
Many of you have heard the video or seen the transcript of John Paul Jackson's vision shared on the Sid Roth program.  I lifted out a couple of points for you.

Sid:  "You saw a dirty bomb going off in America?"
John Paul:  "I saw more than one dirty bomb going off in America.  The first one I saw was in a port in a coastal city.  I didn't see the name of the city but I saw tunnels underground in the city, and I saw those tunnels full of water."

Sid:  "And you saw nuclear material being secretly brought into the US?" 
John Paul:  "Right, in underground passageways.  It looked like it was coming in an arid area, so it looked like it would be from the Mexican border... some type of biological warfare coming... someone would pay some of the people in Mexico, like mules, to carry biological and chemical weaponry in these tunnels to the United States, and then release them in certain areas."
 
As judgments come to America we need to remember they are part of His redemptive plan for us and it is His mercy and love reaching out one more time. 
 
Listen to the lines from the oldies song, "Needles and Pins," and hear what we as a nation will experience.  "I saw His face, it was the face I loved and I knew I had to go away and get down on my knees and pray.  Because of all my pride, these tears I cannot hide..."
 
We look for this day spoken of in Isaiah 60:17-18, "I will make your officers peace, and your magistrates righteousness.  Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither wasting nor destruction within your borders: but you shall call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise."
 
In the meantime, as we prepare the earth for the King of Kings to rule, we as Intercessors have the responsibility of permitting only what the Lord permits.  We might be deserving of a spanking, yet the adversary wants to take us to the woodshed and give us the whipping of our lives.  We permit what the Lord permits and no more.
 
We must be committed to stay in the fight for the long haul, realizing that it will probably not be our generation who finishes the battle.  I want to share a passage with you from the minutes of the Italian Masonic Lodge entitled Permanent Instructions, or Practical Code of Rules: Guide for the Heads of the Highest Grades of Masonry.  Written in the late 1700's, it talks about infiltrating and annihilating Catholicism and ultimately Christianity.
 
"THE WORK FOR WHICH WE GIRD OURSELVES UP IS NOT THE WORK OF A DAY, NOR A MONTH, NOR A YEAR.  IT MAY LAST FOR MANY YEARS, PERHAPS FOR A CENTURY; IN OUR RANKS THE SOLDIER DIES, BUT THE WAR IS CONTINUED."
      
 
There is a principle of war called concentration, where we concentrate our focus at decisive points to win strategic battles that can turn the course of a war. 

One decisive point is to pray into people who have the ability and boldness to change the course of the war.  We need to focus on strategic people the Lord is using to call attention to the crisis on our border and support them in prayer.
 
We also need to support all law-enforcement (local, county, state and federal) who serve on the southern border.  As Intercessors we have prayed against lawlessness, but the Lord is giving us the opportunity to pray for those who enforce the rule of law.  The role of government is to restrain evil.  We stand with these men and women as they join the Lord in standing against lawlessness in our nation.
                                 
 
In November of 2003, inside the Federal Courthouse in Montgomery, Alabama, I stood and wept on the spot where the Ten Commandments had once been.  The Lord showed me that something beyond the natural realm happened when they were taken away.  He revealed that the Alabama Supreme Court decree stating that Judge Roy Moore's placing of the Ten Commandments in the courthouse was unconstitutional and that they would have to be removed, in effect, unrestrained and unbridled lawlessness in this nation.
 
Scarier than this is the reality that so many Christians have no concept of self-restraint, self-governing or self-control.  If I can't submit to the Lord and allow Him to govern my life and help me be self-governing, how can I pray effectively for law enforcement along our borders?  We need to ask the Lord to show us our own hearts.  The key to praying effectively over the borders of our nation and for law-enforcement officers is to first deal with any tiny little bit of rebellion or lawlessness in our own hearts.
 
Rusty Fleming closed the final chapter of his book, Drug Wars: Narco Warfare in the 21st Century, with these two sentences.  "The only one who can turn the tide is the one reading these words. If that person doesn't act, we can hardly expect anyone else to."
 
Keat and Judy Wade have prepared the following prayer points for us to concentrate our intercession at some decisive points in this battle against the forces of drugs, money and violence.

 
We begin the prayer focus by reporting a vision Keat had just before the San Diego Border School.  This is to bring encouragement to those that pray for the border.  "I saw a huge angel above me looking down, with a sword extended downward from his right hand.  In his left hand was a hyssop branch dripping with blood.  It reminded me of the way God's people used a hyssop branch to sprinkle the doorposts before Passover so the angel of death would pass over their homes.  I believe the angel held the hyssop branch over Border School.  Also, I was reminded the sword is used both in offense and defense.  He will take care of us.  The hyssop is a sign of His protection as we proceed with this prayer assignment."
 
Declare - We declare we AGREE with the Most High God and we ALIGN with His purposes and what He wants to do next.
           
Deu 4:1-2  "Now, O Israel, listen to the statutes and the judgments which I teach you to observe, that you may live, and go in and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers is giving you.  (2) You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you."
 
Declare - We declare You are teaching us and leading us with Your eye.  
 
Ps 32:8  "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go.  I will guide you with my eye."
 
Pray for the NEEDS OF THE BORDER CHILDREN along the US/Mexico border who have lost family members, observed violence, or been victims of human trafficking.
 
Pray for COLLABORATION between law enforcement, governmental leaders, and organizations working to prevent human trafficking or help victims.
 
Pray for CREATIVITY, INNOVATION and SPIRITUAL WISDOM for law enforcement, governmental leaders, church leaders and the body of Christ in the border region.
 
Pray for the new 22-person San Diego County Drug Task Force and the 9 new Chula Vista police officers being added to deal with the drug cartels.  There will be confrontation and a potential for violence.
 
Declare - We draw a blood line over the border (the hyssop branch) and ask for a divine application over the 4 US and 5 Mexican states.  Bind a predatory spirit.
 
Declare Ps 115: 16 over the border - "THE EARTH BELONGS TO THE LORD."
 
Declare Ps 96: 3, 4, 5 - "Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.  For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods.  For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but the Lord made the heavens."
