Bozeman Creek Parking Lot Options

Attention:  The Downtown Bozeman Partnership is seeking public comment on the improvement alternatives for the Bozeman Creek Park(ing) Project.

Three draft improvement alternatives have been proposed at the corner of South Rouse Avenue and East Babcock Street.  

The Downtown Partnership has posted several documents pertaining to the project on their website downtownbozeman.org

Pizza Eating Contest CALL FOR ENTRIES!!

Tarantino's Pizzeria is excited to present the 2nd Annual Pizza Eating Contest at this year's Bobcat Fest on Main, April 27th.  Beginning at 6:45pm near the event stage at Bozeman Ave. and Main Street.

 

Multiple competitors will be battling it out to see who can eat an 18" Tarantino's Grandioso Cheese Pizza the fastest - and possibly dethrone our reigning champion Saul Martinez.  

 

The winner of the event will not only be crowned "Biggest Pizza Eater in Bozeman", but will also win a 6-month membership to Main Street Fitness, a $200 Tarantino's gift certificate and Tarantino's merchandise, and other great prizes.

8th Annual Bridal Walk - April 14

 

bwimageThe Downtown Bozeman Association and Downtown Retailers along with our gracious community sponsors, The Bozeman Daily Chronicle, Insty Prints, The Bozone and "My 103.5" FM are proud to present the 2012 Bridal Walk on Saturday, April 14th 11am-3pm on Main Street in Downtown Bozeman. 

 

We are rolling out the red carpet for brides, grooms and their entourage in Downtown Bozeman!  Stop by the Baxter Hotel anytime the day of the event and receive a bag of goodies to help you on your way!  Then, stroll Main Street and discover over 35 participating businesses listed below that can help you with all of your wedding needs.  Find everything from dresses, rings, invitations, flowers, gift registries and more.  See live music, partake in wine, cake, and hors d'oeuvre tastings along the way, and have the chance to win many in-store giveaways and raffles such as free diamond earrings, custom designed wedding rings and much more!  Also, find out how to win a $500 gift certificate to be used at any of the participating businesses! Bozeman's Most Deserving Mom Contest - CALL for ENTRIES!

Lost Spa Plans a Big Move in Early Spring

loft spa After 12 years in the spa industry and nearly 5 years as a spa owner, Katie Wing is ready for the next step for her growing business by moving and expanding into an ideal new space. The Loft Spa has been in business in downtown Bozeman since 2007 and after only 16 months under original ownership, Katie decided to purchase the business. She had worked with the original owners to develop the business plan, as business management had been her educational background. So, when they decided to sell Katie knew the potential and quickly jumped on it. Over the past several years, Katie, along with her team of experienced industry professionals, have applied their passions and spa industry education to build The Loft Spa into popular and successful Downtown Bozeman business. Elevate Cycling Offers a New Way to Workout

elevate Two years ago, Jennifer Casey was on a solo road trip across the country and was pondering her professional future. Although relatively fresh out of college at the time, Jennifer knew it was time to start thinking about her future. She had been addicted to indoor cycling and pondered the idea of a "cycling studio" similar to yoga studios where you pay per class on a set schedule. She began to research the idea more and realized that it was a growing market with great business potential especially in Bozeman. She also started working countless hours with Bill Pryor of Spynergy Consulting which resulted in a business plan and Jennifer got to work on getting the business open. Now, 2 years after the idea had come about, Jennifer Casey has opened Elevate Cycling in Downtown Bozeman at 448 East Main Street but not without it's challenges. Read More

 

Resiliency: Three Years after the "Downtown Explosion"
  

Early on the morning of March 5, 2009, a natural gas explosion rocked the snow-covered block of 200 East Main Street in historic downtown Bozeman. The explosion and subsequent fire destroyed five buildings, displaced nine businesses,

and most tragically, one life was lost. Three years later Downtown Bozeman continues to recover and rebuild. When taken in the context of the coinciding severe economic downturn, Downtown Bozeman's resiliency over the past three years is harbinger of continued growth and prosperity. Read More
