MCDC and the Downtown Bozeman Partnership are excited to bring

on September 27.

Downtown Partnership Announces New Operations Manager!
Jessica Edelen is now the Operations Manager for the Downtown Bozeman Partnership, beginning in August, 2011.
A Bozeman native, she graduated from Montana State University in 2011 with Bachelor degrees in both Liberal Studies (Global Multicultural Option) and English Literature. She has been involved with the Downtown Bozeman Association since 2008 as the event assistant as well as an office assistant.
She enjoys exploring the Gallatin and surrounding Valleys throughout Montana's turbulent seasons with her dogs and is thrilled to continue to grow with Downtown Bozeman.

MSU/Downtown Homecoming Pep Rally
We are pleased to announce that on Friday, September 30 at 5:30pm on Main Street at the intersection with Willson, we will be throwing a Pep Rally in Downtown Bozeman to show our Bobcat Spirit and help the football team get pumped up for the big Homecoming game v. Sacramento State on October 1. This event is brought to you by numerous local businesses and organizations; Downtown Bozeman Partnership, MSU Alumni Association, MSU Athletics, The Cannery, Ted's Montana Grill, The Bacchus Pub, The Leaf &Bean, Chalet Sports and more. Montana Downtown Conference,October 12 - 14
Downtown and Main Street organizations from across the state of Montana have created the Montana Downtown Coalition. The primary function of the newly formed Montana Downtown Coalition is to support the Annual Montana Downtown Conference,a three-day gathering of downtown professionals, business leaders and community champions.
The Montana Downtown Conference is an annual gathering of downtown management professionals from across the state and beyond. The conference held in a different Montana community each fall and hosted by the corresponding Montana Downtown Coalition member organization. This year, the conference will be held in Bozeman from October 12-14th, 2011. Click here for more details

There are always new things happening in the Downtown Bozeman area. Whether it's a new business opening, an existing business remodeling or just a simple update, I want to keep you informed about what going on in Downtown Bozeman!
Rockford Coffee Opens 2nd Location in Downtown
In 2004, Ryan Willson and wife Kristin decided it was time to pack up and move to Bozeman, a move they had always intended to make. Kristin had grown up in Missoula and graduated from MSU so, when they were visiting family and friends in Bozeman and saw the space available for lease on 7th and Main, they knew it was time. So, they both quit their jobs in Seattle and according to Ryan, "started from scratch." Their intent was to bring a good cup of coffee to Bozeman and start a coffee shop that encompassed who they are. Read more...
La Parilla Also Takes to Downtown
La Parilla originally opened in 1996 by Zack Anderson who later teamed up with Pete Strohm in 1999. The duo, along with other partners along the way, began to open many Bozeman businesses together such as; Moo Casa, On the Rise, The Garage and Naked Noodle. All along they had according to Pete, "a mission to create new things that hadn't been done in Bozeman...and operate in ways that were responsible to the community, provide a great work environment for employees and always have fun doing it!" After selling Naked Noodle in 2008, Zack approached Pete about purchasing The Garage and La Parilla in 2009 so that he could focus on his latest concept called Island Noodles and Pete agreed.
