There are always new things happening in the Downtown Bozeman area. Whether it's a new business opening, an existing business remodeling or just a simple update, I want to keep you informed about what going on in Downtown Bozeman! As we head into summer, Downtown Bozeman continues to welcome new businesses and changes in our amazing retail district.

 

Cosmica Has a New Space All Their Own

 

cosmica2Cosmica has been part of "the Beatnik", a creative downtown business that housed 3-4 separately owned businesses within a unique and eclectic space, for the last 3 years. So, when the Beatnik decided to close its doors a few months ago, Cosmica owner Ana Macrae didn't know the future of her retail business that focuses on imported clothing, accessories and home goods. Sole Mate Takes on Bozeman

 

solemate2Sole Mate, a retail business featuring numerous well known lines of shoes and accessories has just opened in Downtown Bozeman at 131 East Main Street which most recently housed the Beatnik. Owners Michele and John Wandke decided to bring their concept to Bozeman after opening Sole Mate in Great Falls in 2009. After Michele, who has been involved in retail for over 26 years, began researching businesses intending to open one of her own, she decided selling shoes and accessories was right up her alley. Sage Kitchens Brings 10 Years of Custom Kitchen Design Experience to Downtown Bozeman

 

sagekitchensSage Kitchens was established in 2006 by Susan Curtis. Susan received her degree in Interior Design and after gaining valuable experience in Dallas, Texas and Denver, Colorado, she made her way to Montana. Then, after spending 4 years growing her business in Bozeman through establishing lasting relationships and receiving referrals from colleagues, vendors, and satisfied clients, Susan decided to open a store front on Main Street at 777 East Main Street. With her new space, she is able to better serve her clients while also providing a warm and inviting space that she can display some of her designs and lines of custom kitchen cabinetry and hardware. 2011 "Cruisin' on Main" Car Show  

    

Cruisin 2011The Downtown Bozeman Association and the Cancer Support Community along with our gracious sponsors; Ressler Motors, XL Country, KBZK Channel 7, Nu2u, Personalize It, Bozeman Lodge, Murdoch's and Lehrkind Coca Cola present the 11th Annual "Cruisin' on Main" Car Show on Sunday, August 21st. The show will run from 9am to 3pm and islocated on Main Street between Willson and Rouse Avenues in Downtown Bozeman.

 

On Sunday morning, we will close down Main Street in Downtown Bozeman to make room for hundreds of cars, trucks and motorcycles. CLICK HERE for an online registration formor same day registration for car show participants is at 9am at the intersection of Black Avenue and Main Street. Read More... 

Downtown Kiosks Installed

 

downtownkioskRecently, three informational directory kiosks were installed downtown to help residents and visitors navigate to and from all the businesses and amenities within the historic Main Street district. The Downtown Directory Kiosks contain a wayfinding map and business directory on one side and DBA event posters on the other. The map, directory and posters are protected within weather-proof display cases purchased from a national manufacturer. The kiosks were designed and fabricated locally by Intrinsik Architecture and Venture Fabrication.

The three kiosks are located at Soroptomist Park (along the northern edge adjacent to Main Street); Bridger Park Garage (outside the southwest entrance near Starky's); and Willson Avenue and Main Street (at the northwest corner of Chalet Sports). Read More... 

Music on Main to Benefit Gallatin Valley Food Bank

 

The Downtown Bozeman Association and Music on Main's August 11th Show Sponsors; Tarantino's, US Bank and Big Sky Resort are proud to present Music on Main to Benefit the Gallatin Valley Food food bankBank on August 11th from 6:30-8:30pm on Main Street between Rouse and Black Avenues.

 

First, on the week leading up to the August 11th show, there will be Food Bank collection bins located at US Bank and Tarantino's along with 1 raffle ballot per can of food donated. Then, at the August 11th show, the Gallatin Valley Food Bank truck along with all the show sponsors; US Bank, Tarantino's and Big Sky Resort will be set up to continue gathering food donations during the event. For each donation of one can, YOU will be entered into a drawing to win 2 tickets to the Spruce Moose Festival in Big Sky on and 1 night lodging for 2 people at the White Water Inn in Big Sky, MT.  Read More...
