Chickpea Café to Open in February
2 years ago, Jennifer and Hamed Jento were at a turning point in their lives. While living in Ohio; Hamed, originally from Iraq had been laid off f rom his job in the Food and Beverage Industry and Jennifer who grew up in Ohio who had been teaching elementary school for over 10 years, knew it was time for a career change. They began to look for employment across the country which eventually brought them and their 2 kids to Bozeman, Montana. New Owner at Gerty
Alex Svensrud has recently taken over ownership of Gerty, a sporty women's boutique that has been an established downtown business for the last 4 years located at 451 East Main Street (in the blue building next door to the Garage). Alex has little clothing retail experience but grew up working in her family owned businesses of a spa and wine bar while skiing professionally and getting to travel the world. Read More
Get N' Green Takes on Downtown Retail Location
After 3 years selling innovative "green living" products on his website, owner Gregg McMan is ready to open a retail store Downtown Bozeman. Although his online business was thriving, he knew he eventually wanted to start working directly with his customers again and open a physical retail space specifically on Main Street in Downtown Bozeman. Gregg has not only called Bozeman his home for over 15 years, he worked at a former longstanding downtown retailer, Bozeman TV, Cabinet and Appliance for many years and he, "loves the feeling and community of Downtown Bozeman." So, when the old Last Wind Up space opened at 113 East Main Street, he knew it was time to make the move. He finalized the lease just after the New Year and hopes to open the store by mid-February.
