Activities in Downtown During Homecoming Week 2010

MSU Homecoming Week began Monday, October 4th and starting this Friday, there are many fun Homecoming activities that you can enjoy right in Downtown Bozeman!
First, on Friday, October 8th at 6:30pm on Main Street at the intersection of Willson and Main Street, we will be throwing a Pep Rally in Downtown Bozeman to show our Bobcat Spirit and help the football team get pumped up for the big Homecoming game v. Portland State. This has become a "cannot miss" community tradition! read more
Then, on Saturday, October 9th the Homecoming Parade will take place on Main Street in Downtown Bozeman starting at 10am. Come stake out a prime spot early to join in the celebration of this long-lasting tradition on Downtown Bozeman's Main Street. The homecoming parade will be followed by the MSU Football Game v/ Portland State at 2pm at the MSU stadium. read more

| Downtown Parking Updates
The Bozeman Parking Commission extends free public parking in Bridger Park Garage downtown from thirty minutes to two hours.
On October 1, Bridger Park Downtown, the city-owned parking garage on East Mendenhall Street, extended free parking from half an hour to 2 hours.
"The addition of 435 additional 2-hour free parking spaces in Bridger Park is another example of collaborative efforts between the Downtown Partnership and the Parking Commission," said Chris Naumann, Executive Director of the Downtown Partnership. "This will provide ample public parking for downtown customers." read more
The Downtown Partnership installs new signs at the four public parking lots downtown.
As part of a larger branding project to better identify the public parking facilities downtown, the Downtown Partnership recently installed a series of new signs at the public parking lots. The signs will make locating the lots easier for visitors and residents alike. The parking lot signs are consistent with the blue-square-white-P signs at the Bridger Park garage. read more

Downtown Trick or Treat 2010

Downtown Bozeman is the place to be the Friday before Halloween! Join us from 3-6pm on Friday, October 29th for a spooktacular, safe evening of traditional trick of treating in downtown! So, parent's let your kids enjoy the brisk outdoors for a little Halloween fun in Downtown Bozeman and gather goodies at over 125 businesses! Hot drinks will be available at the Downtown Visitor's Center at 224 East Main Street. We will also have patrol cars and bright flags located at the intersections to help slow down traffic and make your experience as safe as possible! See you there!
