Crazy Days

 2010 Summer Crazy Days, July 23-25

 

The Downtown Bozeman Association and downtown merchants are proud to present the 2010 Crazy Days Summer Sidewalk Sale!  It's the biggest, the best and the original.  It's the Downtown Crazy Days on Friday July 23rd through Sunday, July 25th from 9AM to 6PM, over 150 downtown merchants take to the sidewalks with unbelievable sales on spring and summer merchandise. Come stroll downtown and check out Downtown Crazy Days!

 

The event is FREE and open to the public and will go on rain or shine!

Music on MainThe Downtown Bozeman Association is proud to present the 10thAnnual Music on Main summer concert series this summer in Historic Downtown Bozeman.  Music on Main will be located on Main Street from Rouse Avenue to Black Ave. The fun will last from 6:30 PM till 8:30 PM on Thursday evenings from July 1 to August 19. Downtown Happenings - July 2010

 

There are always new things happening in the Downtown Bozeman area. Whether it's a new business opening, an existing business remodeling or just a simple update, I want to keep you informed about what going on in downtown!

 

Sweet ChiliSweet Chili Asian Bistro has opened at 101 East Main Unit 1 (next door to Meridian women's boutique).  The restaurant is owned and managed by two brothers and their wives; Fei Qui and husband Rujian Zhang, his brother Rutian Zhang and wife Angel Chen.  The brothers are experienced Asian chefs while Fei and Angel have gained years of experience running the front of the restaurant.  All four were born and raised in China where Rujian and Rutian spent many years in China primarily Hong Kong learning traditional Thai and Chinese cooking methods as well as Asian fusion techniques. Indian UprisingNext, Indian Uprising Gallery™, a Bozeman business of over 9 years has recently moved from their 25 South Tracy location to 308 East Main Street.  Owner Iris Model began visiting Big Sky, Montana for ski trips in the late 1990's, fell in love with the area and decided to purchase property so that she could devote more time here.  Now after almost 12 years, Iris continues to spend summers in Bozeman and winters in New York City and wouldn't have it any other way. Trunk ShowOwners of the soon to open (Dari Rasa) Trunk Show, Linda Chambers and Steve Pringle, are excited to be back in Bozeman after many years of trying to return!  Linda and Steve met when they were both 11 years old growing up in Singapore and after losing touch in their adolescence they reunited at a high school reunion and continued to keep in touch over the years while living separate lives across the country from one another. Robert Young was the founder and has been the Executive Papulo DogsDirector of Red Feather Development Group since 1995.  Red Feather is a 501c3 non-profit that, "works in partnership with Indian families and communities to implement sustainable home construction methods that offer hope to the tens of thousands of tribal members that have no home of their own." The Next Downtown Bozeman Art Walk is Friday, July 9th, 2010 from 6-8pm.  The Art Walks are brought to you by theArt Downtown Bozeman art galleries and  retailers, and the Emerson Center for Art and Culture.  The ArtWalks continue throughout the summer and occur on the 2nd Friday of the month June through September from 6 to 8PM in Downtown Bozeman.
