First Downtown Bozeman Art Walk - June 12th
The Downtown Bozeman Association, Downtown Bozeman art galleries and participating downtown businesses are proud to present this summer's Downtown Bozeman ArtWalks. The ArtWalks occur on the 2nd Friday of the month June through September from 6 to 8PM in Downtown Bozeman. The galleries feature artists' openings and receptions and often provide complimentary hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. Read more

Business News in Downtown
There are always new things happening in the Downtown Bozeman area. Whether it's a new business opening, an existing business remodeling or just a simple update, we want to keep you informed about what going on in downtown!
First, Montana Trails Gallery, one of the Downtown Bozeman businesses who lost everything in the explosion on March 5th is reopening in a new downtown location at 402 East Main, where T. Charbonneau's used to be located in the corner of Rouse and Main Street. Steve Zabel, owner and proprietor and return manager, Nicole Hughes are working hard to officially open in early June and will be having there first artist reception during the first Art Walk on Friday, June 12th where they will be featuring many of the same artists that lost works in the tragic accident. Next, we are excited to announce the opening of an old fashioned candy store and soda fountain in Downtown Bozeman named Chocolate Moose located at 140 East Main Street on the southeast corner of Bozeman Avenue and Main Street. While Tammy Hauer, the Principal and CFO at Jonathon Foote and Associates who are the owners of the newly renovated building where the candy store will be located, was attempting to find tenants to lease the beautiful retail stores along the Main Street level of the building, she came up with the great idea of filling the niche of a 50's style candy store and soda fountain in Downtown Bozeman which is currently lacking. Finally, a new western inspired new and used vintage clothing and accessory store has just opened in Downtown Bozeman. The name is Head West and they are located at 24 West Main where Chaparral was most recently located. The owner, Charlie Brooks owned a second hand store in Downtown Bozeman from 1986 through 1994 named Rethreads but he decided that this time around he would use the same business concept for his new store but add a bit more of a western theme and new vintage selection. Draft of Downtown Improvement Plan to be Released
The draft of the Downtown Improvement Plan will be presented to the public on Thursday, June 18th and digital copies will be available for public review on Friday, June 19th. The public is encouraged to review and comment on the plan between June 19th and June 30th.
