Radiant Hands Assistance Committee has reported  the funds have reached such a critical low, they are now forced to refuse most applications, and only paying partial financial assistance to those in most desperate of conditions. Our mission is to help single parent families (with young children) who are employed in minimum wage positions and who are beset by a one-time emergency -- cut in work hours; illness of child and had to stay home and employer does not offer benefits; car breakdown, etc.

When each request is received one or another of the Committee contacts references, checks work history, and contacts landlord or GRU for payment history.  Radiant Hands strives to be good stewards of the generous donations received.

Think about donating the cost of a dinner out, the cost of delivered pizza or the cost of gourmet coffee drinks for one week.  If each person  just gave a small amount, the collective would be incredible! Many single parent households will benefit from your donation.   No amount is too small and every cent is appreciated beyond measure.
