New Info on the website 

Two new information tabs are on the website showing Testimonials of people who have been helped, and a concise site where you can see who needs specific help.

Special Needs
 
Radiant Hands is working with 3 separate families now, and we are requesting special help.
 
1. We have a young single parent with a new baby going back to work after maternity leave and needs help with her utility bill. She has applied for special housing and is on the waiting list.  We are trying to match her payments with money from Radiant Hands - as she pays down her account we want to match that amount. Once an apt opens up for her, she will need help with the required deposit to startup her utilities. If you can help this mother, please contact admin@radianthands.org

 
2. Another mom needs help with purchasing tires for her car in order to continue driving safely to work. The approximate cost for two tires - "out the door" is $250.00.  The ex-husband is unemployed at this time and unable to contribute any child support. We are helping with other areas, but this request requires special attention. Please consider helping this woman, contact admin@radianthands.org for details of the tire size.
 
3. We are continuing to work with the woman with cancer. She is trying to find less expensive accommodations and needs help again with the rent for March. Radiant Hands help last month and we had support from the community which is greatly appreciated. Now we need more help.
 
 
Come give your opinion 
 
Join us on Saturday March 8th at 3pm at Atlanta Bread Company on Archer Road. We will be planning the Annual Fundraising Dinner and would love your input. There will be changes this year. Come and find out exactly what will be planned. 
 
New procedure for Newsletters
 
 After our last general meeting it was decided to reduce the number of newsletters. We will only send out two per month with a summary of events and a calendar of upcoming events. We hope this will keep the email clutter to a minimum.
 
Special requests will be sent out as they are received. So, if you get an email out of sequence, please read.
 
Other information will be updated on the website so please keep checking that periodically. 
Garage Sale Summary
 
Thank you to everyone who came to help for the garage sale. A special thanks goes out to everyone who came out to work in the rain and cluttered garage to make this a success. Despite the rain we had a lot of people stop by. We had some wonderful items for sale and great prices. Not everything was sold so we will hold on to some of the items for the next time. Thanks again everyone.
