Greetings!
Potluck Family Picnic and General Meeting February 7th
Join us on Saturday February 7th to enjoy an afternoon at WESTSIDE Park (12-noon until 3pm)! Lunch will begin promptly at noon followed immediately by our 1st general meeting of the year. While the children enjoy the playground, we will review our financial progress for 2008 and brainstorm news ideas for the upcoming year.
Please be sure to attend to share your thoughts on how best to assist the community; as always, men are welcome to attend. Radiant Hands will provide the paper goods, water, chips, and a light picnic lunch. We will also have sugar cookies for the children to decorate and enjoy.
Please let us know which of the items listed below you will be willing to bring. admin@radianthands.org Soda Ice Dessert Salad Main dish
Garage Sale Feb. 14th Saturday
We will also be planning for the garage sale. If you have items that you would like to donate, now is the time to put them aside. The plan is to have it at Pat's house. However, if you have a location you would like to suggest in order to have the best success, please let us know. If you are allowed to have the sale at your community center that would really work well we think. See you at the meeting to make plans. |
Update on the last special request
Many of you responded to our request for financial assistance for the woman with terminal cancer. Thank you for your contributions! With your help and some of our savings we were able to cover several of her outstanding bills as well as provide her with food. She is very grateful for your help in her time of need, and it has given her great comfort to know that she is not alone in her struggles. If anyone is interested in providing further support, we are certain this will be appreciated." |
