Greetings!

As the year ends and a new one begins

Radiant Hands would like to express their sincere gratitude to everyone who supported us this past year. We are in the process of formating letters for IRS confirmation of donations. If you would like to receive a letter confirming your donation for the year to use for tax purposes, please send an email to Patricia Khan. Remember charitable donations now require documentation.  The annual report will be posted on the website soon.
Online Assistance Request
There is a new link on the web page where people can apply for assistance from Radiant Hands. There are two options: print and mail in the form or apply online. All fields are required for application consideration. If you know someone who can benefit from this please let them know.

Who have we helped and what can we do next?

During December, Jean Ritch will be purchasing and delivering food for a dinner for the homeless being held by Project Downtown. We were able to provide the main course, fruit and some desserts.

In addition, Radiant Hands help a single mom by ensuring she was able to renew her business license in order to continue working to support her children. Slowly but surely, women in the community are finding there is a source of emotional and financial support available to them.

Radiant Hands would like to expand to help more people, but in order to do that we need volunteers.  If you would like to get involved please send an email to admin@radianthands.org and let us know what you would like to do.

Garage Sale

Unfortunately, due to some scheduling issues, we will not be having our annual Garage Sale in December this year. Radiant Hands will have the sale early in the spring. If you have items you were saving for us, please continue to hold on to them if possible. Else contact Pat or Jean and we will make some sort of arrangement.

Thanks again, we look forward to having your help in the spring.

Project Downtown

Project Downtown is having a canned food, clothing, and blanket drive which will be going on till December 12th. Canned foods can be dropped off at the Hoda Center or ICG. Clothes and blankets will be picked up by any of the board members.

The contact information for their board members is listed below. Please keep in mind when donating clothes that they are clean and wearable. Many people are requesting jackets, hats/beanies, and gloves, so winter clothes will be greatly appreciated!

Please contact Abdulrahman Zeinomar Outreach Coordinator, Huma Rassaq , Treasurer, or Ali Khan , Director to make a donation.
