Read a blog post by Cole Camplese, Director of ETS at Penn State University, on his changing view of student response systems. His explanation of his changing view as his eyes were opened by seeing effective use practices with clickers in the classroom is a fun read. Be sure to watch the first short video clip of the Penn State Professor as he takes his students from one extreme to the other, all the while using clicker feedback and knowing exactly where his students stood on his questions.

Our daffodils are blooming, so I guess it's safe to say that spring has officially "sprung." Hard to believe that before we know it school will be out for the summer and things will start winding down.
Keep an eye on Engaging Technologies as we'll have some exciting news coming down the pipe in the next couple of weeks. We are excited about the growth we've had and are striving to continue to offer the superior support and products that you are used to from us. Be sure to watch for some new offerings that we'll be adding to our repertoire shortly.

Time is drawing near for the kickoff of the fun and innovation of the NETA conference at La Vista Embassy Suites & Conference Center April 28th-29th.
We've been busy preparing, making our list and checking it twice...

We're really excited for you to see the Gretna Public Schools team of Chris Vos and Jon Trede demonstrating how they're using CPS clickers and Mobis in the elementary classroom, and Stacy Sykes from Beatrice Middle School will be joining us in our Livescribe presentation to share how she is using pencasts to support her students.

| MobiView Will Make An Entrance at NETA 2011

We're excited to introduce the eInstruction MobiView at NETA this year. Stop by the booth and be one of the first to try out the MobiView! (If you're looking to be the first, Gregg Robke of ESU 4 has beat you to it!) 
I love the ability to access my favorite programs all from the touch screen, including all my favorite whiteboard tools! In addition, the ability to save notes for myself is a great memory tool for a classroom that is extra busy (and what classroom isn't?)
Someone inquired about the MobiView this week and called it the "Mobi - Deluxe Version," and that it definitely what it is!
The MobiView features a larger LCD screen that now has touchscreen capabilities. It's all you can do with the Mobi and MORE!

 Mimio Quick Learn sessions are led by classroom teachers who use Mimio Interactive Technologies every day. Their goal is to share with you insights and skills you can put to work in your classroom the very next day. One of these instructors is our very own customer, Melissa Zielke, of Goddard, Kansas!
You can choose from any of 13 one-hour, interactive webinars where you are guaranteed to learn something practical. And what's more, they are offered at no charge. Each session is packed with hands-on demonstrations, easy-to-follow instructions, and available on any computer with Internet access.
All participants who successfully complete a Quick Learn session will receive a Certificate of Completion. The certificate, along with the syllabus, may be submitted to your state and/or district for CEU points.
