After growing up and graduating from college in Montana, Linda gained classroom experience from shore to shore. Before taking time off to be home with her young children, Linda taught high school business and computer classes in California, Kansas, and Pennsylvania for a total of 9 years.
After moving to Nebraska, Linda joined ESU 3, based in Omaha, as an instructional technologist. There she gained a breadth of knowledge about the latest classroom technologies while assisting teachers with the use and implementation of Microsoft Office products, iPods, iPads, iWork, Web 2.0 tools, Google tools, interactive whiteboard technology, multiple learning management systems, and more.
Linda and her husband, Dan, now reside in Lenexa, KS (but Montana will always be home!). They enjoy hitting the golf course and spending time with their two grown sons, Bob and Tom.
Educational Background:
- BSE in Business, Montana State University
- MS in Computers in Education, DeSales University
Linda on working with Engaging Technologies:
"Technology in education has so many benefits. Not only can these tools engage students, but they can also lead to improved students proficiency in all content areas. An important aspect of this technology is that it should be transparent and not the main focus of the classroom. The products offered by Engaging Technologies do just this. I am eager to work with educators to show them how to use the Engaging Technologies products and integrate them into their classrooms."
