Send Notes to Evernote
Evernote allows you to capture anything, anywhere, and works with virtually every computer, phone, and device.
Make sure you have the latest version of Livescribe Desktop downloaded so that you can send your notes and drawings directly to Evernote through Livescribe desktop.
Share an entire notebook (custom or original)
This allows teachers, students, or others to create a customer notebook, drag multiple pages into it, and then share the notebook online as a single pencast or as a .pencast file.

Updating Firmware on eInstruction Products
Are you having difficulties with any of your products?
Make sure your product firmware is up to date!
To update firmware on eInstruction products, open the Device Manager. Under File > Preferences, go to Firmware Updates. The computer will then scan for any updates.
Updating a Mobi?
Make sure your Mobi is hardwired while you are running the update.
Updating a CPS receiver?
Just make sure the receiver is detected through the Device Manager.

For a fun bell ringer activity, test your students global IQ by displaying an im age taken by Astronaut Scott Kelly aboard the International Space Station. Use clickers to provide some multiple choice options for students to choose from.

As Thanksgiving draws near, we'd like to take this time to say thank you to all of our loyal customers for your support during this past year. We hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends and enjoy a break that I'm sure is well deserved!
Many of you may have noticed that we've expanded our offerings to new products. In doing so, we vow to continue to offer the best possible support with our new products, just as we have with our current lines. Making a direct impact on student learning in the classroom is our primary focus, and we feel that these product lines will continue to help us accomplish this.
New to our product line, we welcome Lumens document cameras, Vivitek projectors and Mimio interactive classroom tools.  | Mimio Joins the Engaging Technologies Product Line

As technology changes, we feel it is our responsibility as a company to keep abreast of the changes so that we can continue to offer a complete technology solution to classrooms across Kansas and Nebraska.
In an effort to do, we are excited to announce a new partnership with Mimio Interactive Teaching Technologies. Although all of Mimio's tools are designed to work together, they are also powerful technology on their own.
We have spent the last month or so working with Mimio folks and exploring both their software and hardware and feel that this is a great complement to what we currently offer schools in our area. Both eInstruction and Mimio have a nice open-architecture design allowing all the tools to work very closely together and provide a workable solution for varying types of classrooms.
Please understand we are not in any way leaving our eInstruction line that we have been so passionate about the past 10 years. We are still passionate about the products we offer, and we are simply striving to offer continued flexibility and solution options that will best benefit classrooms in Kansas and Nebraska.
We will commit to supporting all of the products that we represent, as we have done for several years. If you need training or support on a previously purchased Mimio system, please do not hesitate to contact us.

| Livescribe Paper Tablet App Now Available
|
November brought the launch of a much anticipated Livescribe app called Paper Tablet. Paper Tablet allows you to use your Echo smartpen as a mouse and turn your dot paper notebooks into an extension of your screen. Once connected to your computer via a micro-USB cable, your Echo smartpen can be used to mark up slides, presentations, PDFs, documents, and spreadsheets quickly and easily.  Paper Tablet tracks your smartpen while it moves over and on Livescribe dot paper, allowing Echo to be used as your computer's cursor. Enter left-click, right-click, and click-and-drag commands from your notebook. You can now skip the hassles of scanning and add your signature, handwritten notes, drawings, or graphs directly into your digital documents. Enjoy the feel of pen on paper while capturing that brilliant idea, rough sketch, or even adding a personal touch to your emails.
