Thanks to all who came in during our 34th Anniversary Sale! It was a fun month, filled with seeing all of our lovely customers. The Open House was very enjoyable. We appreciate each and every one of you, and truly, you are why we are able to celebrate 34 years!

And a big thanks also to everyone who "hopped" into The Fabric Garden and the other participating shops during Maine Quilt Shop Hop 2012. It was our biggest year ever in regards to prize levels, participation, and (we think) fun! We donated a Janome Horizon 7700QCP as a Grand Prize. The winner of that was Pamela Jewett. Duo Fuse (Double Sided Fusible Fleece)
is a soft, luxurious, lofty double-sided fusible fleece that has raised the bar on what you can expect from a fusible fleece. You all know those scratchy glue dot coatings typical on most fusible fleeces? Even after fusing you can often feel the little dots of glue through the fabric and there is that ever-present puckering that is unavoidable. Duo Fuse uses a patent-pending glue application that allows for the fleece to feel soft before and after it is fused. Your fabric will not pucker and the bond is washable and dry cleanable.
