Greetings!
I hope this e-mail finds you well, and that your summer was enjoyable.
It's been a busy time here at The Fabric Garden! We're excited to launch the brand new Memory Craft 12000 on October 1st. It is a truly incredible machine. I recently traveled to Orlando, Florida to attend Janome training on that machine and other software and techniques, along with 1,200 Janome Dealers from around the world. It's a fantastic opportunity to learn, so that I may share the knowledge with you.
Lots of Happenings:
A Launch Party for the new Horizon Memory Craft 12000 is planned - be sure to reserve your spot.
We're had several requests for a beginner quilting class, so that is scheduled (see e-mail or website for details)
We're gearing up for the "Harvest of Squares" Fall Shop Hop next week.
Save the date for our Fall Open House, coming October 22..
There are lots of new items and fabrics in-store. Is it just me, or does the fabric get even more gorgeous every year? New kits, new fabrics, new buttons, new inspiration. I hope it keeps inspiring you as well.
Happy Fall, and all the best your way.
Warmly, Kala

Beginner Quilting Class
Have you wanted to learn to quilt, but are just overwhelmed? Here's your solution. This three-week class will take you through the steps, so in the end you can proudly call yourself a quilter. Instructor Sharon Mantor will be with you each step and stitch of the way, guiding and helping you along.
Thursday October 13, Thursday October 20, and Thurday October 27 (Attend for Three consecutive Thursdays) from 1:30-5:00. | |
A Few of Our Favorite Things..
A small selection of things we love... New batting, little irons, strong lighting(we're not getting any younger), make your own vinyl fabric, and more...

Happy moments...
We donated two Janome 4120 QDC sewing machines to Maine Quilts 2011, for the volunteers' drawing. Shown below are the two lucky winners!
Below, with the Janome team in Orlando, Florida, being presented with an Outstanding Achievement Award for Janome sales, service and standards. I was down there along with some 1,200 dealers from around the world, to receive training and education for Janome products.

Fabric featured in this e-mail
The background of this e-mail is from the "La Scala 3" line by Robert Kaufman. The fabrics are rich jewel tones, with splashes of metallic gold here and there. We have a nice assortment of bolted fabrics from this line now in-store.
