Happy 2010! Tax Season Is Near! |

Welcome to a brand new year and if you're like most people I talk to are thankful that 2009 has come and gone. The Bustrum 5 had a very restful holiday break and we were very blessed to spend quality time together as a family. Check out new family photos on the web site. I feel like I just finished doing taxes and here it comes once again. All pre-set tax appointment letters were just sent out and all tax clients should check your mailboxes. Great Job Amy! It takes a lot of time and effort to make the schedules and keep the appointments organized. As always if you need to make any changes just give Amy a call and she will take care of you. Let's be easy on Amy for this will be her first tax season... I don't want to scare her away. ;)

2010 ROTH IRA CONVERSION OPPORTUNITIES! |
2010 is here and now everyone can convert a traditional IRA to a Roth IRA if it makes financial sense. You will be seeing a lot of hype on this in the next few months and I will caution you to not get caught up in the frenzy. This can make sense for some and for others it could cause a Tax Avalanche. I will be getting you more information in the weeks to come and present you will an opportunity to get better educated on Roth IRA's and see if will apply to your situation. So look for information coming your way in 2010.
It's always best to make an informed decision and if you ever have a question about what's right in your particular situation it might be a good idea to consult with a tax professional before deciding if taking advantage of the rule change in 2010 is right for you. So call me...
