Lake Erie Artists Gallery is sponsoring a summer art contest that continues through August 25, 2012.
The 2012 Essence of Shaker Square Art Contest will offer a first and second prize for a total of $500 in cash.
Contest entries must follow the rules, and be entered into the contest no later than Saturday August 25, 2012.
Don't miss our Contest Closing Party on Saturday August 25 from 5 pm to 8 pm. We will have food, wine, and fun--open to the public.

While we admit that we are quite partial to Ohio State University, Lake Erie Artists Gallery can offer beads in just about every school color with 1 to 2 weeks lead time.
Currently we carry in stock red and gray, orange and brown, and blue and yellow beads. We also have many collegiate licensed beads.

August is here, and believe it or not, it is already time to think about sending the kids back to school. I know that I am having trouble believing that my college age daughter goes back August 19.

Nguyen Minh Son Gallery Showing Lake Erie Artists Gallery is completely excited to be able to participate in this year's new Shaker Square Arts Festival, and be a part of the new Shaker Square Arts!-- a grassroots effort to inspire collaborations between residents, artists, organizations and businesses in the Shaker Square/Larchmere/Buckeye Neighborhoods, creating a more exciting artistic environment at Shaker Square.

Sunday Afternoon Arts Festivals are Free to the Public
Shaker Square is hosting a new grassroots Arts Festival three Sundays this summer on the sidewalk and grass at Shaker Square.
Our July festival had a downpoar in the middle of it, but we still had quite a bit of traffic. The next festival will be on Sunday afternoon, August 15 from 12 noon to 5 pm. If you walk the Square, you will discover delightful artwork from artists in just about every field.
In addition, Lake Erie Artists Gallery will be hosting photographer Jean Schnell, who will be selling her mini photos (example above), which are just so darned cute. She will also be signing people up for her Photography Class: Photo Portraits for Beginners. Feel free to ask her questions about the class.
If you look around during the afternoon, you may also see artist Ralph Solonitz wandering the area sketching the art festival and the comings and goings of the people. If you are lucky, he may even create a sketch of you.
Lake Erie Artists Gallery will be open from 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday July 15. Look for the balloons at our door.
