December is here, and it proves to be a very exciting and event filled month. We are happy to offer you several specials and events during this holiday month to peak your interest.
Saturday December 3 Lake Erie Artists Gallery will be hosting a fundrasier for the Nepal Orphan's Home. You can purchase beautiful gifts for the holidays and give to a very worthy organization. Learn more about the Nepal Orphan's Home, and join us on Saturday December 3 from 12 noon to 6 pm. Here is more information about the event.
Saturday December 17 Lake Erie Artists Gallery will be hosting a Last Minute Trunk Show for The Velvet Box. The Velvet Box based here in Berea, Ohio makes beautiful beads that fit Pandora, Trollbeads, Chamilia, and all the add a bead bracelets. This event will run from 1 pm to 6 pm on Saturday December 17.
Along with the Trunk Show, we will also be hosting local author Claudia Taller, who will be selling and signing her book Ohio's Lake Erie Wineries. This is a perfect gift for anyone who loves wine.
Ordering Online
For those of you ordering online, please allow enough time for items to ship to us and to you before the holidays. We will only guarantee stock items to get you to by Christmas if you order by December 10, 2011. After that, we will ship, but there is no guarantee. It all depends how many we have left here in the shop, or if we need to order them from our artists who will also be inundated with requests from their other customers.

City Skyline Prints by Monte Ellson
| |  Skyline prints of Cleveland and surrounding cities
Big City Skylines are the handiwork of artist Monte Ellson. Although Monte is not actually living in Ohio, quite a bit of his work features the skylines of Ohio cities in a very unique way.
Monte uses a CAD machine (computer generated drawing) to create each skyline one line at a time, taking numerous hours of work to draw each building. The buildings are laid out by height, not as they are seen in the skyline, and each one has the unique flavor of that particular city. We have several of these in stock in our store.
