Greetings!
There is a lot of moving and shaking around town this week-literally! Here at The Red Vault, we are pleased to introduce to you new design talent, update you on showroom movement, and keep you current on upcoming events.
Sally Wheat is quickly becoming one of Houston's most promising new designers. After spending years designing and decorating homes for herfamily, she has turned her passion into a successful design firm and has recently launched a new website, www.sallywheatinteriors.com. She has been creating exquisite spaces, gaining new customers through word of mouth from satisfied clientele. Her beautiful home has been featured on the Cote de Texas and La Dolce Vita blogs and also in Houston Home and Garden magazine. It has also become the inspiration for many of her design projects. Wheat's rooms are light and airy, with an ease about them. She often starts with a neutral palette. Not only are her rooms simply elegant, they're also livable. Her style is the current and fresh. She describes her taste as "quirky", mixing important modern and antique pieces, along with great finds and organic items. She has an acute sense of what her clients are looking for and pays great attention to them to deliver the desired results. Visit her profile and portfolio at www.theredvault.com or at her booth at Antiques and Interiors on Dunlavy (3845 Dunlavy, Houston, Texas, 77006 ph. # 713.522.6996).

I stopped by Vieux Interiors (3701 W. Alabama, Suite 160, Houston, Texas, 77027 ph. # 713.626.9500) to check out the new showroom. What an amazing space! There is over 7000 square feet of new merchandise, an expanded collection of original art work, plus a huge assortment of accessories. The owner, Marty Bratton, and his staff have a great eye when it comes to design and the selection here ranges from antiques to contemporary. Stop by at this new convenient location. You will be glad you did.
