To symbolize this alchemy, Joe Fischer will be presenting his Secret's of Magic Show for Children (of all ages) on Monday, April 9.

Food for Fines @ Your Library 
National Library Week, April 8-14
 
Holy Redeemer Food Pantry
 
 
During National Library Week, "pay" overdue fines with donations of non-perishable canned or packaged food items. Each donated food item will be equal to $1 off existing fines. Even if you don't have fines, your donations will be welcomed. All donated items will be given to the Holy Redeemer Food Bank.

You can still continue to download from the South Jersey Audiobook and eBook Download Center. However, all new materail that Avalon is purchasing will only be available on our new download portal. I Love Lucy: An American Legend - One of the earliest television shows to capture the imagination and interest of the American people was "I Love Lucy." It premiered on October 15, 1951 and followed the activities of Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball) and her husband, Ricky Ricardo (Desi Arnaz) This digital collection from the Library of Congress explores the show's history via a set of themes (such as Latin Roots/Yankee Roots and Theme Songs) and a set of digitized items. Visitors can click on the Themes to find original sheet music of the show's theme music, publicity photographs of Ball and Arnaz, and short essays on topics relevant to the show's run and legacy. Visitors can zoom in on the images here and they can also share the items with friends via a variety of social media platforms.

Pic monkey was used to adjust color and exposure, sharpen and resize the above photo.
