Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus... And His Assistant is a Gunny....URAH!  The library is once again serving as a collection point for Toys for Tots. For information of drop-off points in your area or other ways of donating to the program, visit the Toys for Tots website. Another way to celebrate the holidays is to donate to the Holy Redeemer Food Pantry. The library serves as a collection point for non-perishable dry foods. Quietly Outspoken Library Teams Up with Talking Book and Braille Center Avalon received one of over forty free-standing Outspoken Library computer kiosks delivered to participating public libraries across New Jersey. The goal is to give every New Jersey public library patron an opportunity to learn about and explore the Talking Book & Braille Center's free library programs that are available to anyone who cannot read a standard print book. |
