Most of the bills signed into law during this General Assembly have been employer-focused; however some affect members, specifically changes to retiree return-to-work rules. Fall veto session begins
Session is October 25-27 and November 8-10
The Illinois General Assembly Fall Veto Session begins this week. At this time, no major pension legislation is expected to pass; however there is always the possibility that new legislation can be introduced.
We will keep you up to date on any IMRF- or pension-related bills during the veto session.
