Good, Better, Great!
What does it all mean?
If you have seen the commercials, you understand that a hotel room is a perishable commodity. If it isn't sold tonight, it can't be sold twice tomorrow to make up for it. That's why hotels offer sale rates to fill rooms when occupancy is looking kind of bleak. We call them Good, Better, Great rates!
Our Good rate is our always available, published rate. You will never pay more than this. And it includes Mom's Breakfast for two each day of your stay. But here's where it gets "good". In order to protect this perishable commodity, resort destinations are well known for very strict deposit and cancellation policies.
Since this is our highest rate, we've opted to pair this rate with the most flexible cancellation policy on the island! At booking, we ask for a 50% deposit (minimum one-night). But once confirmed, you have until 3 days prior to arrival to make a change or cancellation (refund incurs a 10% fee). For a weekend stay, that means you have until the midweek forecast to decide on your trip.
Our Better discount includes Mom's famous breakfast but requires a two-night minimum stay and incurs a 7 day notice of cancellation. (still better than most of our fellow innkeepers)
Finally our Great rate is heavily discounted, still includes breakfast and requires a two-night minimum stay but also requires you to prepay your entire stay in advance and has no opportunity for a cancellation or refund.
(Most of our package plans fall under the 7day cancellation/50% deposit policy. Please be certain that you understand the reservation restrictions and policies before booking your reservation. and read your confirmation carefully!)
And if that isn't enough, ( and it should be!) and while this is far from a "lowest rate guarantee". If you find a lower advertised rate at a competitively similar (or better) property on Nantucket, let us know and we'll see if we can offer you a better rate to stay with us!
