Its the Summer Solstice...
 Yes, Saturday June 21 is the longest day of the year! Starting here on Nantucket at 5:07 AM and ending at 8:17 PM. (glad it's a Saturday!)
Things are busy here on the island. School is finally out for the year and Saturday is one of the final nights of the Nantucket Film Festival. But if you ever have the opportunity, you may wish to experience Stonehenge on this unique day each year -- thousands of visitors mark the onset of summer with a giant celebration. (hmm? AM dancing around some giant rocks -- I think I'll stick to Surfside Beach!)
Ok, so you are probably asking yourself, "what does this have to do with me?" Well, we thought it was a great opportunity to to have a summer sale, of sorts.
To mark the start of summer, Saturday only, June 21, 2008 from 5:07 AM until 8:17 PM ET only, we have sprinkled a few Summer Solstice deals around our online booking site.
