Happy Holiday Healthy Habits
| Relax, I'm not going to harangue you to eat only twigs and berries during the holidays. But here are a few suggestions to help you enjoy the season without doing too much damage to your health:
- try 1 small portion (only) of everything you really want to eat
- don't eat those things you don't care much about (except vegetables - do eat them!)
- alternate water with alcoholic or other high calorie drinks
- eat more vegetables in the non-event meals (slight harangue)
- realize that eating more food than you need is as wasted as what you throw away
- find time whenever possible to exercise, no matter how short a time it is
Enjoy yourself and don't worry about it - just don't go crazy with the amount you consume.

| News of the Month | |
Star of the Month is LM. She only comes once a week, but works hard and has a great attitude. She is training for a trip to Machu Picchu this month, so we have been wearing a loaded backpack while doing lunges, step climbing, clamboring down the BOSU trail, and incline and decline treadmill walking. As a result, she just found out that her bone density scores have increased significantly, so much so that her nurse was shocked and delighted with LM's progress.
MF and Trainer Gaye should be featured in the newspaper soon in an article about long term client-trainer relationships.
BR brought me some useful golf gag gift suggestions. But now I can't use any of them for him.
HF sent me a referral for my sister in laws art gallery.
NM pleaded for "no legs today" - she's never weenied out on anything before, so I went along.
JM has gotten strong enough that he may send his wife over to us. Healthy Habits is now on FaceBook. You are all invited to be friends, and hopefully fans. In fact, it would be a big help if you would. Please click here to sign up.
Welcome new clients: RA, KCap, BVD, CC & CC and PC & KC.
Welcome back Kel and KaJo. Temporarily out: Rainman

And from now until Christmas, we'll give you 20.11% off our usual rates. So, your true love can work out with one of our experienced professional trainers for $47.93 per 1 hour session or $27.96 for a half hour session.
