| Sign-Up Begins for Business as Mission Journey Part ii |
Business as Mission Journey Participants: Primarily seeking business-related majors, as well as those with a gifting in entrepreneurship, management, administration, HR, teaching/training, finance,marketing , etc.
Time: 1-2 semesters Aug '08 to Feb/July '09 (6-12 months)
Goal: Participants would gain a fuller understanding of the principles and issues of BAM,and wrestle with them in real life as they visit and interact with practitioners and businesses trying to make it work in this world. Ultimately, participants would become part of a new generation of entrepreneurs who can take the lead in following Him to set up fruitful and sustainable BAM enterprises to facilitate church planting among the least-reached.

Bakke Graduate University (BGU) is seeking a dean of its newly forming business school. Until this year, BGU has had a theology school with masters and doctorate programs and has grown from approximately 70 active students to 400 students in four years. BGU is looking for a leader to build a business school that is value-consistent with the theology school and can utilize the BGU international network to grow courses and regional hubs throughout the world.

Working professionals from many backgrounds sat in our living room sharing their stories, which they do whenever we start a rep training cycle. "I can tell you exactly the exit on the Interstate 5 freeway where my dream died," said John, an I.T. professional. It sounded as though John were describing a gravestone. He was a graduate of a well known Bible College who had dreamed of being a minister, but had ended up sidelined in the technology sector, so he thought. The dream of being in ministry finally gave up and died.
