The past month has been filled with energizing news as I've been able to connect with Business as Mission leaders around the world.

The very first International Business as Mission Training Course finished a very succesful first year and announced plans for another group in 2009, as did the journey of the twenysomethings traveling around the world in the series "Business as Mission Journey."

Here in the United States, I was able to attend the Global CEO Network event in Dallas and continue to witness how a growing number of organizations are introducing opportnities for people to "enter the top of the funnel" and see the concept of business and ministry played out in a vision trip or live events.

May all of these exciting developments lead to more opportunities to fuse business and ministry together and make a long lasting impact for the kingdom.

Working Faith: Getting Your Ladder up the Right Wall - Brett Johnson
Brett JohnsonWorking professionals from many backgrounds sat in our living room sharing their stories, which they do whenever we start a rep training cycle. "I can tell you exactly the exit on the Interstate 5 freeway where my dream died," said John, an I.T. professional. It sounded as though John were describing a gravestone. He was a graduate of a well known Bible College who had dreamed of being a minister, but had ended up sidelined in the technology sector, so he thought. The dream of being in ministry finally gave up and died.
