Tonight we will be learning about two very dynamic election integrity groups in California who serve as models for effective action everywhere:
The Voting Rights Task Force (VRTF) of Alameda County,
and
Sav R Votes of Riverside County.
Dan Ashby will interview VRTF Co-Chairs Jim Soper and Michelle Gabriel who will tell us the history of VRTF action since 2004 and current projects such as election monitoring, standing firm with CA Sec. of State Debra Bowen, and educating legislators about needed amendments to the state election code.
In the second half, Tom Courbat will interview Maxine Ewig, co-founder and co-chair of Citzens for Democracy, Temecula Valley -- which is the parent organizations of the Sav R Votes project, one of the pre-eminent election monitoring efforts in the nation. Get out your notepads.
