Host Tom Courbat and Harry Lehmann introduce the statewide Tangible Ballot Initiative, a measure to amend the state election code to define a ballot as a tangible paper ballot -- disallowing the present definition that recognizes a computer touchscreen display as a "ballot."
Tom will then be joined by Robin Gibson and Michael Jay of the Los Angeles Election Protection Task Force recounting the Joint Legislative Hearing on Friday, March 7, convened to hear evidence of statewide election problems during the California Primary, including the "Double Bubble" ballot fiasco that disenfranchised 12,000 voters in LA County -- and would have negated 189,000 ballots if not for the hue and cry raised by election integrity advocates.
Rounding out the show, Tom and fellow Riverside County activist Paul Jacobs share tips on how to document election violations (and county hearings) by coordinating multiple video cameras to capture evidence scenes from multiple angles simultaneously.
