Election Defense Alliance
Greetings!FleetingOpportunity

Time and Money -- seems like there's never enough of either.

But if you act fast  -- by midnight tonight --

your tax deductible dollars can work for electoral integrity -- and what better cause is there than that?

For no matter what cause or policy issue drives you,
if your vote doesn't count, nothing else you do will matter.

A Strategic Campaign

Election Defense Alliance is building a sustained citizen-driven campaign necessary to reclaim electoral democracy.

You can read about our first year of achievements here.

Because EDA is a sponsored project of International Humanities Center, a 501 (c) (3) foundation,  your donations are 100% tax deductible.

Maximum Impact

edalogo 190pixHow do you know your donation to EDA will have effect?

In just this past month:

* An EDA investigation in Pima County, AZ resulted in a court order to disclose raw election data -- a breakthrough precedent with national implications. Ultimately, we believe this case will prove computerized vote fraud by election insiders.

* Pro-bono EDA attorneys filed an amicus brief in federal court, proposing a hand-counted paper ballot solution to avert forced use of  DRE machines in New York state

And in the prior 14 months,  EDA's volunteer staff:

* Published more than 120 research studies, articles, and letters-to-the-editor
* Made more than 135 radio, TV, film, and video interviews and appearances
* Produced more than 30 conferences and public programs
* Testified at scores of county and state hearings
* Presented dozens of trainings
* Developed a fraud-detection protocol for vote counting
* Exposed violations by election officials

And, oh yeah . . .  demonstrated 3 million electronically shifted votes in the 2006 election and issued major reports on the tell-tale patterns of electronic vote fraud.
Crisis = Opportunity
bolt

EDA has achieved all of this -- and more -- almost entirely on volunteer labor.

To date we have received individual donations, but have had no institutional funding for operating support.

We have channeled 95% of all income into critical programs such as exit polls and voter surveys that are our only means to check the integrity of officially reported electronic election results.

Our full-time volunteer director and national chair, and our 15 coordinators and webmaster are devoting thousands of unpaid hours, but we cannot sustain this effort indefinitely without adequate support.

More importantly, we need to grow bigger, stronger, and faster to confront the immediate crisis of 2008.

Among our plans, dependent on your support, are:

* Monitoring the presidential primaries for covert manipulation of outcomes
* Publicizing our investigatory findings and UBS fraud-detection protocol
* Developing rapid response election data forensics capabilities
* Launching an "I Count" campaign for citizens to hand-count paper ballots for
federal races, in the precincts, on Election Night

See here for a more detailed view of what your donations will enable EDA to do.

To help achieve these critical objectives in 2008, we need your help.

Please make a generous year-end gift before the stroke of midnight!

Or, if year-end tax deductions don't fit your financial profile,
please consider a sustained monthly contribution.
Give what you can afford.
Modest donations from many individuals make a powerful movement.

If you know someone else who can help, please forward them this message.

Wishing everyone peace, prosperity, and a revival of electoral democracy in the New Year.
