Celebrate Life
Foundation (CLF) presents an all expense paid Mending Heart Retreat/Survivors
Pageant for women who have overcome gynecological type cancers, breast cancer
and other cancers. Eight contestants will participate in a Survivors Pageant
that will result in two runner ups and the winner, to be titled "Ms. CLF." The contestants
will be awarded with many surprises; however the most important gift is the
gift of giving back. The CLF mission is to educate,
communicate, eliminate and promote prevention of the
sexually transmitted disease HPV, which can cause cervical cancer.
In addition to the Survivors Pageant, CLF has
planned a two-day Mending Heart Seminar to take place at the Fiesta Hotel and
Casino Stratosphere Hotel beginning April 22nd-23rd, 2010. Previous
Mending Heart Seminars have been known to change women's perceptions on life,
and the knowledge provided for them has liberated women from feeling helpless
and confused. The retreat will consist of seminars intended to motivate
attendees to examine emotional, physical, spiritual and financial areas in
their lives. Participants will be given a forum to take their first steps
towards restoration during this retreat. More importantly, they will leave with
the necessary skills to overcome the trials and tribulations they have
experienced.
The mission of
the pageant is to celebrate the beauty inside women which is often overshadowed
by their physical appearance in today's society. All contestants will be judged
for their individual talents, ability to speak eloquently and how gracefully
they carry themselves during the evening-gown competition. After the winner is crowned,
a royal court ceremony will take place- consisting of all contestants that will
be acknowledged for their accomplishments. The contestants will be identified
as living survivors of one of the most deadly diseases against women today.
Please send a one
page letter that explains your battle and triumph with cancer. The Survivor Pageant
is by invitation only and a CLF representative will provide those who are
interested with more information. Please keep in mind
that this is a FREE event for contestants. Your accommodations not to mention
gifts and surprises are all inclusive.
