The Wonder of it All...

the middle of my 10th Alaskan cruise this summer. What an unbelieveable experience and privilege.
During these summers I witness some of the most magnificent wonders of the world--sights and sounds that people travel from all over the globe to experience. Each week I am face to face with some of the most magnificent glaciers and mountains in North America; places like Mt. St. Elias, Mt. Fairweather, Marjorie Glacier, Mendenhall Glacier, College Fjord, and Hubbard Glacier. Each and every time (rain or shine) these wonders take my breath away and continually remind me that God is the creator and builder and sustainer of it all.
And yet, the biggest wonder continues to be that He would care and love each and every one of us. What a humbling realization. Years ago we sang a song that had these words:
On the wonder of it all; the wonder of it all
Just to think that God should love me!
How true those words are on at least two levels: This world is a continual wonder, and it is truly a wonder that God loves and cares about us. But, He does. Wow! Each day I encourage you to attempt to pass some of that wonder and love on to someone you meet. It will make their day.
