The Playground

Cherry neighborhood park playground will be closed from September 25 - October 4.  The neighborhood has secured a grant and is replacing the equipment.  The field will still be open during this time, pending any changes from Park and Recreation.  Lowes has volunteered to come and do kits with the students one day to help during this transition time. 

 

Join Carter Oosterhouse from HGTV and his non-profit, Carter's Kids, in building a customized playground at Cherry Park for Community Charter School students and neighborhood children.

 

Home/ Community Rehabilitation

Join "Rebuilding Together" in helping homeowners in need by revitalizing 6 homes with repairs, painting, yard work or curb appeal improvements to surrounding areas. 

 

Project Support

If you are not drawn to pick up a hammer, we have many project logistic roles where you can help including registration, volunteer care, safety monitor, and many more.

 

Breakfast, lunch & an event t-shirt will be provided.

We are ecstatic to announce our first Annual CCS Fall Festival!!! The CCS fall festival will take place on November 3rd. To make this event a huge success, we are asking our community to help and pitch in. 

We are in need of the following donations:

cakes for a cake walk- don't have the time to bake, donate the ingredient (cake mix, oil, icing, goodies for decorations)

The success of our school community depends on our volunteers! Please contact our volunteer coordinator, Abbi Douglas, for the next training session. You must also complete a background check to volunteer in the school.
