PCMA Southeast Chapter
January 2012 E-Newsletter
Happy New Year to all!  It is my honor to serve as your 2012 PCMA Southeast Chapter President.  On the heels of Convening Leaders 2012, I come to you motivated and excited about the new year ahead.

In that spirit, your board is focused on delivering quality education as well as providing important face to face time with your industry peers.  Along with other events, we will have luncheon programs planned in March, May, August, and November of this year.  These programs will keep you current on industry trends, cutting edge technology, best practices, and so much more.  So be sure to read all PCMA Southeast communications...you don't want to miss a thing this year!

It is now my pleasure to introduce the 2012 PCMA Southeast Chapter Board of Directors!  This is a group of highly motivated and outstanding industry leaders that are here to serve you.  Without the help of all of these volunteers, this association would not be in existence.  They make it a success because they believe in PCMA.  But, there is always room for more volunteers.  Will this be your year to become more involved with the PCMA Southeast Chapter?

You can find a listing of your 2012 Board to the right.

Thank you again for the honor of serving as your 2012 PCMA Southeast Chapter President.   If you have any feedback on how the chapter can serve you better and help you to achieve your personal or professional goals in 2012, please contact me at patty-kieffer@mobile.org.  I look forward to seeing you at all of the chapter programs and events.
Patty Kieffer
2012 PCMA Southeast Chapter President

Call for Volunteers

The biggest benefit of your PCMA membership is the people you meet! Also the more involved you are in the chapter, the more people you get to know in our industry. We all are busy with personal and professional responsibilities, but the extra time and effort given to the Southeast Chapter is rewarding. You will gain valuable experience and develop relationships with wonderful colleagues along the way.

Consider joining one of the many dynamic committees.  For more information on each, visit the Committees/Volunteers page of our Chapter website or contact Director/Volunteer Chair Susan Rawlins at (404) 508-1404 or sarawlins@bellsouth.net.

2012 Host Venues Wanted

PCMA Southeast Chapter is currently looking for host venues for their 2012 quarterly programs. These programs are an opportunity for your property to showcase its facilities to PCMA Southeast members who do business in the metro Atlanta area. Hosting a luncheon allows meeting planners to see what your property has to offer - especially ideal for those facilities with recently completed renovations. Ratio of attendees at chapter meetings is 50% meeting planners and 50% suppliers.   For more information, contact Director of Sponsorship Sarah Bigorowski at sbigorowski@gpha.org or (404) 419-8126.
