U.S. News Undergrad Ranking Up Nine Spots
 The LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business' undergraduate program jumped nine spots overall and seven spots among public institutions in U.S. News & World Report's "Best Colleges 2013" rankings. U.S News & World Report ranked the college's undergraduate program 42nd among public institutions and 72nd overall.

Emmert Speaks for MPA's 40th Anniversary
 The LSU Master's of Public Administration Program celebrated 40 years of excellence on Friday, September 7, 2012, with a special luncheon that featured NCAA President and former LSU Chancellor Mark Emmert. Additionally, LSU PAI Director Jim Richardson was recognized for his 40 years of service to LSU.

JCF Accepts Lin's Paper for Publication
 Ji-Chai Lin, Lloyd F. Collette Endowed Chair in Financial Services professor and Ph.D. advisor for the LSU Department of Finance, co-authored an article recently accepted for publication by the Journal of Corporate Finance. The article, "SEO Timing and Liquidity Risk," was co-authored with YiLin Wu from National Taiwan University.

LSU Flores MBA Program Info Session Thursday
 The LSU Flores MBA Program has announced it will hold six information sessions through January 2013, and a Preview Day. During these events, anyone interested in learning how an M.B.A. can benefit their career are welcome to stop by and have LSU Flores MBA Program administrators and staff answer their questions.
