 The 2012 edition of Louisiana Looking Up, which will be held Thursday, September 13, has been finalized. This year's presenting sponsors for the event will be Stonetrust Commercial Insurance Company and Talk 107.3 FM and major sponsors are Entergy, The Shaw Group and Coca-Cola.

Major Award Renamed for LSUCIA Director
 Glenn Sumners, director of the LSU Center for Internal Auditing and the U.J. LeGrange Endowed Professor in Accounting, was recently given a prestigious honor by the Institute of Internal Auditors. The institute renamed the CIA Student Highest Achievement Award after him.

 The Highway Safety Research Group at the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business has been named the 2012 Innovative Customer of the Year by A-T Solutions, a global industry-leading anti- and counter-terrorism firm. The HSRG assisted A-T Solutions in creating the LaTRCM application.
