20 Years Advocating for Justice
Achivement_Posteizes_96dip

Welcome!  June 2011 marked the 20th Anniversary of Price And Associates! Through the years and the many milestone cases, my staff and I have been privileged to advocate for justice on behalf of our clients.

Each and every one of our clients has given Price And Associates the opportunity to put into action what we believe in: the right of each individual to equal treatment, to fairness in the workplace and in the community, and to creating a life based on one's own choices in pursuit of happiness. This is a very American ideal, which we strive each day to ensure for those who need our advocacy.

We are thankful for the opportunity to serve, and we look forward to continuing our journey for many years!

Best wishes,

Pamela

EVENT RECAP

June 16:  Equal Rights Advocates Luncheon

Inspiration was the theme of the Equal Rights Advocates 37th Anniversary Luncheon in San Francisco on June 16th. Executive Director Arcelia Hurtado welcomed the many guests by noting that it is hearing the stories of the women who come to ERA for help that move and inspire ERA's attorneys and staff to advocate vigorously on their behalf.

Ironically, in 1979, Pamela was one of those clients - ERA filed an amicus brief on her behalf in the appeal of the landmark sexual harassment case of Alexander v. Yale.

In a time when as a community we have made great progress towards equality for women, there is still much work ahead--as Ms. Hurtado noted, "Equal Rights Advocates exists because we are needed."

Keynote Speaker Actress Anna Deavere Smith continued this theme of inspiration, eliciting empathy and knowing laughter  from the audience for her portrayal of Americans she has met and gotten to know, both those in need, and those offering assistance.

Pamela and the staff of Price And Associates were proud to attend the luncheon and support the efforts of ERA. For 37 years, ERA has helped women and girls in need of legal assistance to resolve their problems both in and out of the courtroom. We wish them continued success as they venture forward securing the rights of women in the workplace, at home and in the community.
